Valvoline Raceway management announced on Facebook a few days ago that there are already 71 entries for the Scott Darly Challenge next Friday & Saturday in Sydney, Australia. That has to be one of the biggest fields of sprint carts ever at the Sydney track.

US Drivers include:

Jac Haudenschild, Brad Sweet, Tim Kaeding, Kyle Hirst, Jason Sides, Danny Holtgraver & Davey Heskin

Australian Drivers include:

Kerry Madsen, Ian Madsen, Brooke Tatnell, Jamie Veal, James McFadden, Steven Lines, Robbie Farr, Australian Champion David Murcott and last year's winner Trevor Green.

There will of course be a strong contingent of Parramatta's regular drivers including Max Dumesny, Ben Atkinson, James Thompson, Grant Tunks and Sammy Walsh.

I am currently freezing in the midwest of the US. However, I plan to be at VR both nights of the Challenge. Can't wait !

Hey PCR Fan 2

I normally sit up above turn 4. However, I will take a walk over to the Turn 1 'Judge's Bar'. I will be wearing a Tim Kaeding Sean Dyson Motorshorts #99 T Shirt.

I'm really looking forward to getting out of this Midwest USA deep freeze and attending the Scott Darley Challenge at VR.

More great news!

VR just announced on their FB page that Sheldon Haudenschild picked up a ride for this weekend's Scott Darley Challenge with local team Mick (father) and Jimmy (son) Matchett. Sheldon will drive Mick's Maxim this weekend.

How cool is that ! We will have the opportunity to see both Jac and Sheldon race this weekend.

The entry list is now up to 78 teams for the race. I am really looking forward to this weekend & right now the weather looks perfect with high temperatures of 28 C (82 F) on Friday and 31 C (88 F) on Saturday.
