Yes, it is a champ car. Couple of clues, they don't run sprints on the Mile. . . oh, and the guide bracket for the remote starter in the front. . . .

Thanks. That's what I thought, but I haven't really seen any "modern" Champ Cars.

Go to my website and scroll down to the Hoosier 100. Check the archives, too. That is the only Silver Crown show that I get a chance to shoot. Oh, and all photos ARE for sale in various sizes and finishes.

Silver Crown cars IMO are the best looking dirt racing cars around. The guide for the remote starter: might sound ignorant here but is that the hole in front center and do they just stick in some type of heavy duty drill and turn over the engine(crank) to start them, in a way like funny cars and TFDs?
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

That's what they do, just like they did Indy Roadsters back in the day.
Really enjoy your photos, sir.
