Yesterday the World of Outlaw STP Sprint Car Series released the 2015 schedule, here is the story and details if you missed it:
http://www.mrn.com/Race-Series/World-of-Outlaws/News/Articles/2014/12/2015-World-of-Outlaws-STP-Sprint-Car-Series-Schedule-Revealed.aspx
My question is, which races are you planning to attend in 2015? Any new ones for you, any traditional dates that you do every year? Just curious.......

Ideal situation, I will attend Burlington, Beaver Dam, Cedar Lake Speedway and the Knoxville Nationals.
Definitely going to attend Beaver Dam and the Nationals--Hope to fit the other two in though.

That date for Port Royal is just way too late in the year to get only one show. Weather is too unpredictable in central PA in late October to bank on anything there. Poor choice

OK, I guess I have been out of the loop & not studied the schedule in awhile having had limited Outlaws access here in TX. Only 1 Knoxville date other than the Nationals?! Sad to see that they visit there so little anymore.

Volusia, Haubstadt, I-55, Lawrenceburg, and multiple Eldora races. The May races with USAC could be killer good at Eldora. Moving the King's Royal later messes me up as now it is the same night as the Indiana Sprintweek finale at Haubstadt, which is 10 miles north of my house. Would love to take a trip to see Huset's and River Cities but that is a definite maybe sometime. Hope Terre Haute is a TBA for Oct. A two night show there like the old Sprint Nationals they used to have there with the non-wingers would fill in that weekend nicely. Never been to Knoxville so shame on me.

Yes , it is late in year but this was the only date given to Port Royal by WRG , as they want to have races before World finals . I will support this race weather permitting , as I believe Port Royal is the most progressive track in Pa right now , doing more for fans and drivers . Steve O Neal along with Bob Miller are best promoters right now bringing variety of different racing and good purse money for there events .

I agree they are over hyped , but I will make a few to support local racing . Fans seem to love them , I guess it is the speed of the cars and the slide jobs, not actual passing buts that is WoO.

None, While a winged feature can be great if it stays green, The jersey restarts cheapen the product.
Heat Races suck
This boy will only be at NW Sprint shows.

Glad to see Williams Grove summer race is a week later than usual, no longer conflicts with Grassroots music fest in beautiful Ithaca, NY.... I guess my old hippy side is stronger than my old gearhead side.
Now I can do both... woohoo!

Cedar Lake Speedway is 32 miles from the end of the driveway and we've got a family lake home in Wisconsin about 15 minutes from the track. I'll probably reserve the lake home for that weekend and make it to one or both nights of that race weekend. That's the only one I can attend without having to burn vacation. The Granite City race is on a Tuesday and would require taking Tuesday afternoon off to get there from downtown St. Paul and Wednesday off to recouperate. Most of the mid week WoO shows I have attended around here have come in around 20-30 cars and it would have to be more like 50-60 before I'll burn vacation to attend. I hope that my friend Chris Stepan, the promoter of Granite City Speedway, has a good night up there so nothing against the facility or management. The timing just doesn't work for me.
