I must be the only guy that doesn't hate him.  I thought he started this as a joke and then couldn't get out of it, heck he's cleaned up his posts a whole bunch.  Got lots of smart knowledgable friends in PA, most of them not in this forum....

First, I don't think he's joking about anything.

Second, I don't hate him so much as reading his posts in the middle of a decent read.

Alright winning drive, here is your chance. I will give you the opportunity right here!

I am thking your exact words out of your post to give us some clarification.

I have written WRG or  WoO about various issues , opinions , and ideas I have  to improve the racing , and most of all the overall  fan  experience .

Give us 3 things that will improve the racing.

1.

2.

3.

Give us 3 things that will improve the overall fan experience.

1.

2.

3.

I personally know how to make the fan activities better and the racing as well.

please share if anything different than above.

To me the WoO is doing the same thing they been doing for years and years , I know how its going go down before it happens , not the racing , THE LACK OF CREATIVITY THAT EXISTS DURING THE NIGHT , as you know it is repetitive over and over again . I believe besides the racing the crowd should be entertained to put a lasting memory of how great  the night was especially for  the kids who are the future fans of tomorrow .

People keep attending also, year after year, race after race. Can you tell us which part is repetitave?

Just giving you a chance here.

I am sorry I have been busy and away from  this board , my ideas for improving the actual  racing are not different then what others already know. But they  won't act upon them or any fans ideas cause I believe they think they have all answers , I never  proclaim to either  but would like to see  different  things  go on and not the same .

   1. take width  from tires more then recently done by WoO

   2. down size  wing

   3.  free up cars , but these  won't happen because  everyone is happy the way these cars  perform ( the above will free cars)

   4. share   track  prep  information among all track ownersor promoters  , especially  from Kokomo

    Fan Experience

    1.reward  fans for loyal support

   2. create different activites for down time

3 improve customer service , many items come under this  point, tickets, office , excess in and out of facility

   4. these are only a few things to consider

  WoO  do the same things:

  1. the 3 or 4 wide salute , time for new salute or something different , Renegades are doing new things

 2. the cone

  3. the announcing stick , while Johnny is good at getting in all sponsors , he could put more excitement into the night, its repetitive what he does during the night .

  4. while fans like t-shirt toss , to me it is same thing or outdated, change the t-shirt toss

  5. WRG owned  facilities are the same , very little improvement for fans benefit

  6. fans are entertained only by  racing  what we  all come for , not a lasting image of a  night at the races

While  I like all  racing , I am not impressed  by  WoO BRAND OF RACING , I can only  think it is the speed of cars more then the actual passing and drivers skill , what racing is about. I know you people  will  disagree but you asked me to comment and I did , while maybe generalized to some degree  , I am not going to get into more detail . I would like to see  all  tracks  improve the fan experience for you who pay your hard working  dollars  to support the sport we all love .  Thanks , I hope this answers my critics , that  really  don't know me , as I am in your corner  not to be a critic at large  as some make me  out to be . I don't look to be a promoter , its a hard  job , I believe more can go on with good racing ,better facilities and actual  entertainment , especially  the racing . I also was never  looking for a chance as you say , just responses from  those who I wrote to , as most  tracks , promoters have done over the years .Most  tracks , promoters  like the feedback but some don't _________? , only when in person.

I'm going to steal a quote from the movie Billy Madison. I think this says it best: “What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

^^^^

Post of the year nomination!

As far as WoO and WRG thinking they have all of the answers. I'm sure that they would like to have reasonable conversations with their fans and would be more than happy to entertain new ideas that are obtinable that are in reason and could be achieved in a fashion that would not cost the teams money and not turn away locals because of unfathomable changes and rules...

Please see in red

 1. take width  from tires more then recently done by WoO (Please tell me how this should be done? would you like the cars to put a LR wheel and tire on the right side, or completly change the tire and wheel all together? What would you do to the left side wheel and tire? )

Figure a team has 20 RR wheels and 20 LR wheels to start the season, making the RR tire width any smaller would require different wheels on the right side, 20 new RR wheels at $500 a whack, that's $10,000...take width away from the LR at the same time $20,000.

If you want to test those wheels and tires before the season $2,500 minimum per test day.

Thats $25,000 to every car to follow the tour minimum. "are you a wheel salesman?"

Propose that to scruffy and the shark team...

   2. down size  wing ($1,000 bucks a wing minimum after powdercoat and graphics times 6-10 wings a year, $6,000 minimum plus testing... $10,000 a car... again tough sell.

   3.  free up cars , but these  won't happen because  everyone is happy the way these cars  perform ( the above will free cars)

Race director to all of the drivers and teams at the pit meeting "Alright guys, we are going to do things a bit different tonight. I want all of you to free up your cars in the feature so they handle like shit, we are going to still pay the winner $10,000. If you win the race and come across the scales with a car that wasnt free enough  you are DQ'd. Good luck be safe"

   4. share   track  prep  information among all track ownersor promoters  , especially  from Kokomo

Please share weather conditions as well, I like the ADR between 99.2 and 99.6 cool and partly cloudy.

    Fan Experience

1.reward  fans for loyal support (I am a loyal fan, I like chocolate milk from chocolate cows that live on the moon... reward me!)

did you cash in on your STP product purchase and recieve a free shirt with a WoO ticket stub? pretty cool reward to me!

   2. create different activites for down time Wet t-shirt contest under the grandstands...

3 improve customer service , many items come under this  point, tickets, office , excess in and out of facility I would like the WoO to build a second road to the race track because to takes to long for all of the fans to get in and out...

   4. these are only a few things to consider not a point...

  WoO  do the same things:

  1. the 3 or 4 wide salute , time for new salute or something different , Renegades are doing new things 3 wide, 4 wide, 6 wide, 1 wide... if it is done more than one time it that would be repetitive?

 2. the cone put it at the end of the front strech going into turn one, that would be exciting I would have to admit...

  3. the announcing stick , while Johnny is good at getting in all sponsors , he could put more excitement into the night, its repetitive what he does during the night . Johnny Gibson is the greatest sprint car announcer of all time! End of story!

  4. while fans like t-shirt toss , to me it is same thing or outdated, change the t-shirt toss Beer can toss?

  5. WRG owned  facilities are the same , very little improvement for fans benefit I have nothing  for this...

  6. fans are entertained only by  racing  what we  all come for , not a lasting image of a  night at the races ???

Same old generalizations dress up as ideas. Still nothing specific.

Change the 4 wide! All the WoO shows I go to the fans go nuts when Johnny does his "you wanted the best..." as the A main rounds turn 4 4 wide! You want the tracks/series to be more fan friendly but want them to change something the fans love? Makes no sense.

My lasting image ( and most fans) of a night at the races is the RACING!!! When I go to an Iowa Hawkeye football game my lasting image of a day at Kinnick stadium is NOT what went on during time outs!!!

Don't like the t shirt toss but give no sugestion what should be done instead.

Don't say HOW to reward loyal fans. I'm happy to have races to go to, I don't need to be rewarded for going.

Create different activities for down time? What? You said you KNOW WHAT TO DO! What activities do you want during down time??

Customer service? Don't know where you go to races at, but I have never had a problem with a ticket seller or anyone in the office (I seldom have a reason to go into the office). Maybe office people are rude to you because you keep going in there and badgering them with all your great ideas to make their track & show better.

I doubt most tracks have anything to say about the roads leading in & out of their tracks. That would be the city or DOT.

The cone. GREAT POINT! What about the cone? Move it? Do away with it? Change the color? What?

Announcing stick (i think you mean Schtick)? Again, most fans LOVE Johnny on the mike. Changing his schtick would be real fan friendly, taking away something the fans like.

There are such things as traditions. Look at other sports. The 7th inning streach in MLB. Coin toss in NFL (could just have visiting team always recieve opening kickoff). 4 wide salute by the WoO.

Share track prep info? What works on black gumbo may not work on red clay. Every track is different, as are weather conditions. How many cars a track gets and what classes effect track prep. If you are ever at Knoxville talk to one of the Dunkin brothers about track prep. They can tell you a lot the average fan never realizes that goes into making a good racing surface.

You ADMIT fans like the t shirt toss but you want it changed because YOU don't like it! And you complain that tracks are not FAN FREINDLY?? Does a fan friendly track change what MOST fans LIKE just because ONE fan thinks it's out dated and does not like it?

WOW, kind of self centered, arn't you!

WOO is too much money for not that great of racing by too many "Almightier than God" egos. That are afraid to do more than follow the leader, might break a finger nail.

Apparently you've never seen Kerry Madsen race. He didn't get a nickname like the “mad man" for having beautifully manicured nails. He got it because he's a bad ass who will put it on the wall anytime, anywhere.
