BEWEAR!!
Last year we tried to support this same fund raiser! Once we traveled 50 minutes, in the rain we where told we could not enter because of the occupancy limit at the Fire hall where the fund raiser was held!
I would have been ok with this but just three hours prior I called and was told I would be able to buy tickets at the door and attend this fund raiser! Once at the door a crew member informed us, that we could not enter until someone left! We asked when he thought that might be, he said he wasn't sure!! He than informed us that the team sold more advanced tickets than what could enter the hall at one time. As we talked amoung ourselfs, said crew member went back into the hall, than returned and told us that he knew serveral people where going to leave shortly, he than ask us if we would like to buy tickets to enter. We turned him down and left!!
There was 6 people in our party, all ready to support this race team!! While there I counted 10 other people whom left as well!!
Seems to me that BMR did not give much thought to there fans/supporters. Why you would have a fund raiser at a hall that could only hold 125 people?? Why you would tell supports the could get in, when they could not!!
BMR has lost the 6 of us, we will not support a team whom does not care about their fans/supporters.

Yes,you are correct on the facts you stated.Last year was the first fundraiser for the Brent Marks racing team.Even with the upredictable weather that evening the turnout was a surprise. As with planning an event as this there will be some mistakes made.Did the BMR team make changes this year to eliminate the problem from last year ? Yes, along with a larger building to accomidate more racing fans the location is also more conviently location for the sprint car fan base.
So don't let one mistake ruin the off season for the Central Pennsylvania Sprint car fans.Come out and meet other racing fans and show support for one of Central Pa's sprint car teamsYou can reserve your tickets by contacting Megan or Brent Marks Racing on Facebook.
It's going to be a long winter until Sat. Feb.2th,2015 for the opener at Lincoln Speedway.See you at the BMR fundraiser.

You see the thing is there are alot of 410 race teams in central pa that need help!! As a group of six race fans, we are sure we could take the money we where going to spend at your find raiser and give it to another team. I am sure another low buck 410 team in central Pa would find it helpful!!
We ( all six of us) agree you race teams get one chance to earn our support. BMR had their chance and lost it.
Thank You
