I know Turkey nite is the final for USAC midgets and is a HUGE race. But WHY is there not one
word about the highest paying 360 non wing USAC race ever in the history of USAC which occurs on Nov 28th and 29th in Las Cruces NM at the state fair grounds track. ????? ( which is a very racey dirt track I might add) $10,000.00 to win....... I know this is a non points race but the money is there. I think $8000.00 2nd $6000.00 3rd and so on and so forth. $500.00 just to make the main. Heard there is already 35 to 40 cars pre entered. Thanks to Royal Jones and Mesilla Valley Trucking. MVT sponsers several wing and non wing sprint cars thru out the country. One of them is a guy by the name of Steve Kinser.

would think it should be a good field of hot runners for a good payoff!!...made Phx in 4hrs from Pas!!...what a show Larson put on after he lost a Torsion stop,went to work area under open Red, n with bout 22 laps ta go caught all but Bell,Hagen!!..for 3rd on Podium!!.....crowd went Crazy!!........
