It all depends on the barometer used for success.  If 25-30 cars is a success, I think they will get that.  Since Marshalltown is radically different than Knoxville, teams may use a different car/engine.  But with the Cappy Classic being such a big show, the Marshalltown event may suffer.

The NSL schedule has not been released yet.  Look for a preliminary schedule in the next week or two.

Are you saying this has been scheduled our just something you would like to see? I see several tracks mentioned on the NSL facebook page but Marshalltown is not one of them.  If you are saying this race is scheduled please tell us where you got that info!

It says its a fact on IBRACN and multiple tweets went out about Marshalltown getting this race. I think its great for the fans to have the full sprint week back. It could be rough on some drivers that have to run wednesday but I bet it still gets decent car count since it is NSL sanctioned. I know I'll try and be there! Marshalltown better make some more room for the fans that should attend this race. Not sure what the pay is, but if its decent some guys who are more short track specialist and not as competitive on a big half might stop by with the NSL regulars.

Looks like www.marshalltownspeedway.com has NSL on their 2015 schedule for Tuesday August 11.

I've been informed by the NSL that the Marshalltown race is not going to happen on Aug 11 like the Marshalltown Speedway press release stated.  The official NSL schedule will be released later this week or next week...stay tunned.

I think the smartest thing to do is wait for an official NSL press release showing their 2015 schedule rather than looking at tracks tenetive schedules or listening to rumors.

Tuesday night is open at Oskaloosa.  Big Game promotions, in association with NSL can put on their own show..

If you can't believe the track press release or track web site....who can you believe?   If it comes directly from one of the sources, you would think it is as close to a fact as you would need....except in this case Smile.

I think the 305s should get to run during that week. They put on a good show every Saturday at knoxville. They deserve to run. Maybe have them run at osky on Monday. Or somewhere else on Tuesday?
