Jeff Gorden and his crew made the after race pit road entertaining.  I wonder how NASCAR will view his actions, the actions of the two other Hendricks crews involved, and the cowardness of Kevin Harvick.

How was Harvick a coward? Looked like the smartest guy on pit road to me.

Looks like right before the scrum starts he sort of (lightly) pushs Brad back to face Jeff. Beforehand you can see him smiling at the back of Brad's car but I dont consider what he did was cowardly. I think he, like many of the drivers are tired of how Brad handles these situations which is running away from people instead of facing guys man to man. Instead of talking to Jeff he simply walks away and it looks like Harvick just kind of goes no no get in there and take your medicine no running away this time. Plus I think Harvick might have been a little mad at Brad for blocking him a little bit on that final run.

Good for Jeff.

Happy's move was busch league, but Brad deserved it.  I found the post brawl interviews amazing.  Not for what was said, but to see that both Jeff and Brad got roughed up in the melee.

Brad needs to either put up or shut up, but this driving like a madman and then hiding behind his pit crew is crap.

Brad has always been a lil bitch.  I can't believe he ever won a championship.

Exactly.  Harvick was just giving Brad some much needed support for his spineless backbone.

IMO Brad didn't do anything wrong there. Jeff left a hole and Brad went to fill it, simple as that. As far as Brad taking his lumps, how often we forget that Carl Edwards tried to kill the guy at Atlanta and at IRP A few years back. I'm not really a fan, but he will continue to stand his ground I think.  While you agree with him or not he is a good driver that will go for the spot and the win without reservation, consequenses be damned.

+1   Gordon was the one who was a dipshit.   If someone opened that big of a hole in front of him and he had momentum he would take it too.   The whole incident was 100% Gordon's fault.   Not a BK fan at all, but would rather him win the race than Johnson.   I am a Gordon fan, but he screwed up and only has himself to blame.   He'll probably realize that when he sees the video.

You guys take this stuff to serious.  NASCAR made this format and there is millions of dollars spent and millions to be made.  If someone bumps into your car in a parking lot you want them hung at the nearest tree, but you can not understand something like this in a NASCAR race.  Remember NASCARS HAVE AT IT BOYS?  They might throw a couple of fines  to make it look like they do not approve, but it sure makes the next race more interesting.

Amen. Brad did exactly what Gordon or any other driver would have done, when the hole opened up, he filled it. Gordon was just pissed because he got snookered. And Harvick's antics were chicken shit.

Jeff made a bad decision to start outside and he admitted he had a bad start (spun the tires) as well. Brad did what any racer worth his salt would have done and if you watch it again, Jeff came down on him. It was a "huge" race for Brad too and when Jeff opened the door, he stepped on in.

Pure entertainment. If it would have been an open wheel car they would have both wrecked.Brad did what you do to win sometimes and it gives the fans what they want too bad it takes 3+hours to race 5 laps.WWF at its best.Remember the clip of Allison and Cale still gets shown and is still funny after 40 years.

Trust me, I was hardly taking anything serious.   I was laughing my ass off.

I was too - especially when they both walked away with fat lips!

That was a crazy last 25 - 30 laps to say the least.

Bet most of us (on this thread anyway) will be tuned-in for Phoenix next week.

If Keselowski somehow wins the Championship again this year I can only hope that Roger Penske assigns a "keeper" to him so that he's not sloppy drunk for the television interviews an hour after the finish of the race like he was for the first championship!  Promoted his sponsor a bit too much after the first championship.

Like to see both of these little assholes from Penske get punted  into the fence at the next race.

Gordon had the car to beat...the Punk had the car that got beat...and Harvick blew the opportunity to turn him at speed.

next week is another wreckfest

Never been a 2 fan but IMO he did nothing wrong, he saw a shot to win and went for it. Im surprised Gordon actually took his helmet off when he confronted Keselowski. This kinda drama is what NASCAR needs i dont see a penalty coming for the brawl but I remember back in early 2000's when JR won Talladega and said shit on live TV and he got a points penalty and basically killed his season, will Gordon get a penalty for swearing as well?
