The Trophy Cup takes no entries at the pit gate. I will take 5 more entries then the entries will be closed. We have 100 cars as of now I'm taking 5 more in case of drop outs if no drop outs we will run 105 or what ever we have. If you want to run the race send me your entry and I will confirm you are in or I will return your entry. WE HAVE ALWAYS REFUSED ENTRIES AT PIT GATE

Now here is some important info: If you were planning on taking an RV to the Trophy Cup guess what?
The fair grounds has been selling spots for RV's for some time now and most of the spots are now reserved.
No public announcement was made any where just word of mouth and we all know what that means, just the in crowd were told of this.
I love the Trophy Cup but the fair grounds could have made an announcement of this new policy just in fairness to people not part of the in crowd.
I hope you were part of the in crowd.

You don't have to be part of the in crowd to call the fairgrounds and ask about camping or reserving spots.
Most people figure it out on their own and don't need a personal invitation.
It is kind of like reserving a hotel room. The trohy cup is a big event. You have to get reservations in early as there is limited space.

It was always just show up and find a spot. My mind reading skills are not what they used to be, so yah I didn't call.
Now I know and I was just trying to get the word out.
There never was a way to reserve a spot in the past, this was the first year.

Well there is a link to RV camping right on the front page of the Thunderbowl web site. So i guess you have to be part of the in crowd to use the web site. Damn those bastards for hiding it on the web site.
RV Camping Information RV Camping is Permitted at certain events throughout the racing season. Limited Full Hook-Up Spaces are available. For Details or Questions, call the Tulare County Fair office at (559) 686-4707.

Wondering who is going to be in the Finley farms 77 and the 57 Silva car? . Stewart and sweet will be in Ohio with WRG. Maybe Christopher bell ? That would make some sense because Silve I believe sets up Ricos car and those two are teamies with KK National midget team.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Let me say it slower this time just for you: If there was never a way to reserve a spot from the time the fair grounds was built until some point earlier this year, calling would have gotten me the same response as the first time I called years ago. ( first come first served)
Sticking up for the Fair grounds is good of you but you have to agree, Posting: "We are now taking RV reservations, call for a spot". would have been a better way.
Yes, I did get a spot and the people at the Fair Office are great.
Can't wait for 3 great days of racing.

So let me se if i understand this. You were not able to reserve a spot years ago, but since then it seems the policy has changed. the fair put it a notice on the track site that RV spaces were available in limited quantities and to call for details, and you blame them for not informing you?
You originally said you just found out about the policy change and wanted to inform people, but you did so by by throwing around accusations of favoritism and evoking visions of clandestine wispering to benefit one group of people and exclude others.
You could have just said you found a policy change that you were not aware of and wanted to let others know as well and that you wished the policy change had been made more public.
You didn't have to slam the place and claim no public notice was given.
Also on the Tulare Fairgrounds site they have a link to RV rentals with a form to reserve sites. So it seems there has been notice.
You said calling would have gotten you the same response that you got years ago, yet you called and got a spot?

Looking on Bells website says he will be in Hickery, N.C. on the 18th.
