Obama has proven it doesn't take much to know better than him.
He has been wrong on almost every foreign policy decision and has had to go back and rethink them.

I didn't see where anyone said he was the only one who ever screwed up. Still that doesn't excuse his ineptitude.
As a matter of fact you might say he should have been able to learn from the miscalculations of others...but he hasn't.
He neglected the information provided to him by the people who are entrusted to know more about the situation than him.
He ignored the perils that were laid out to him if he acted in the manner he did and didn't act as was suggested by his military advisors.
He has done everything since he has been president not to help advance the common good of the country, but to advance his political party and political ildeals and his inflated ego.
I guess if you give anyone enough chances they have an opportunity to at least blindly stumble upon a successfull solution, but this guy can't even do that.
