so how did this go over, I saw that Rahmer won.  But I was highly intrigued by the format.  Im highly interested in the DBL heat format WSS in Aussie runs something like that and I think it lets things get settled on the track more than a pill draw and an invert draw does.

Any feedback from anyone who was there or watched it on the cushion.  I bartended last night so I wasnt able to purchase it myself

Stevie Smith won, driving one of Fred Rahmer's cars.

It worked out pretty well I think. The track did rubber up in the middle of the A main but with as many cars and heats they had on it you kinda expected it. 52 cars total which I thought was a pretty good turn out being They had the Renegade show over in Pittsburgh running at the same night and there were some Posse drivers that didn't show.  I was hoping to see Kreitz, Layton, Stroup, and some of the others but I can also understand saving your gear for next weekend too given the amount of money on the line.

I think it was an interesting format, but would have liked to see racing through the whole a main, not 14 laps.  i liked the point system, made people race in the second heat race and made them exciting.  But whenever stevie said "I just fell in behind a lapped car and knew there was no way around him" kind of sums up the feature.

I have to agree, I thought the A min was a sleeper, I had hoped for more passing!!  I had hoped to see Lance try to pass Stevie, but second was better than fourth!!!

I liked the points deal, but I felt the two rounds of heat races where to much!!  I think the track took way to many laps in the end!!!

I think a good format might be a 5 race series, one race at each track( five different tracks with in a 4 hour radius), each team would earn points from each of the five races, than have a regular show!  and the teams can earn more points that night!!

Maybe even throw in a red flag half way, let the teams ajust the cars, fresh tires............

I feel bad for the person who had to try and keep track of points all night.  Hope to see it back next year with the same amount of support from both cars aNd fans.

Sort of an interesting twist, but we have Pa Speedweek for that.

I doubt the cpu had a tough time calculating the points.

I can tell you for a fact that it wasnt all computer operated.  People had to keep track of drivers and races to make sure the proper points were awarded.

The format sucks! Enough with these ridiculous long drawn out procedures for qualifying and get to damn feature already,  before the track is used up! I'd like to see a good race AND get home before 1 AM. That's the way I feel about it.

I have a suggestion. How about 2 20 lap A-mains with the same lineup and passing points format?

Yeah, the support from the fans (banged out!) and cars(52) was incredible! Hope to see it back next year with a better format- longer feature and less qualifying. The purse should be better too. 20G is great for the winners share, but from 2nd on back, the 360 race at Selinsgrove paid better. The crowd Lincoln had they could have easily paid a whole lot more and still made a killing, but that's way Lincoln has been ever since the Leibstein's have run the place. They won't pay a big purse unless they have backing from a sponsor. KK was this years sucker. The Livelsbergers had better paying races at the track back in the 80's, and they didn't need to reserve down to row 6!

Sorry if the facts make me a dumbass but hey, the ts asked for honest opinions. What should we say? It was the greatest show ever? It wasn't. In fact, there wasn't much passing all night. I am grateful for KK. Without his involvement, this would have just been the tytpical 5G to win Weld Memorial race. Lincoln won't pay more than that without sponsorship money. I love Lincoln and have seen a lot of fantastic racing there but last week was sub-par.
