hey guys, I liked he ft they know what a black flag is,i thought the call s questionable but the right onei thought it was more of a racing deal three guys all racing hard but you can't say its okay, b/c you can make it look like an accident. But anyway i liked the shoot out would like to see that more often what about a sunday. top five from the features from okc, ardmore, lawton, and meeker race on sunday somewhere if someone runs two tracks that weekend then maybe take the sixth place finisher oh well just a thought

Timms has always been a clean driver at lcs,and there was some hard racing between littlejohn, timms, suggs.im not the flagman nor did i make the call, but i was simply answering okcfan12s question to what i heard over the radio.Timms is and always has been welcome to
LCS at anytime......p-nut

Well if the flagman makes the calls then he needs to realize that this is dirt track racing and they will bump and sometimes bump pretty good too. One can most of the time tell the difference in a racing "bump" and a meaning too "bump." Last Saturday night when I was there, Nathan Suggs got black flagged for bumping the car in front of him in turns three and four. He didn't gain position, if fact, looked as though he backed off and they black flagged him.
That is dirt track racing folks, sometimes it is going to happen - unintentionally.

I wasn't there (the rain scared me off) but I doubt it was because Timms isn't an Ardmore regular. (Btw, I like Randy Timms.) I think they are just trying to
get the drivers to calm down a bit because the past few nights I've been down there there have been alot of cars torn up in the mod class not so much because of dirty driving but because people just weren't using their heads. So thats my take on why the seemingly exessive black flags.
I wasn't there when Suggs got the black flag and I wasn't there when Timms got it so I can't really comment on whether either of those were warranted in any way or not but two weekends ago they black flagged Sam Cox for spinning someone on the last lap... it was an accident, but I felt that it was the right call.
I agree that bumping and rubbing are going to happen and should be expected but there are too many weekend demo derbies going on around the state. So, personally, I think its refreshing to
see a track actually use the black flag as long as they are consistent with their calls and from the descriptions of the two incidents (Timms & Suggs) and the one I saw (Cox) it sounds like they are being pretty consistent with their calls.
I like dirt!

I wasn't there either, but for the flagman to make the call, right or wrong, is great! I guess he doesn't have someone in his ear telling him when to throw what flag & when. What happen to the good 'ol days when the flagman DID control the race?
Like Dogwater said, I think it must of been just trying to keep things under control with the season winding down.JMO

there will be another shootout ...Ronnie and I are gonna try to round up 5 cars from each place and see what we will come up with !!!Also if anyone wants to sponsor the deal that would be nice ..Ronnie put up his own money for the deal saturday night it would be nice to get some 100 or 50 dollar sponsors to chip in when this deal happens ...
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !
