Looking at the Outlaws site this morning I noticed something odd
Can someone please explain to me why David Gravel 83 Roth is 10th in points?
By the looks of his finishes Stats etc to me looks like the young fellow
should be 6th or 5th in points. Think he has had a pretty good year considering he
he has not been with the team from the beginning of the season and going thru 2
crew chiefs, different car chassis, different motor and different shocks.
seems to me they have found something in past few races that has been working
minus the flat tire. His stats look like he should be ahead of the Kinsers, Darah
according to his numbers

He didn't start the year in the 83 and missed a bunch of races earlier in the year before TK got fired.

The woo points are structured to award attendance first. You get around 100 points to start the a main and 75 points for entering. If gravel missed 10 races, he was down about 1000 pts to KK or Darrah. Tough to make up.

Pretty good if in fact he did miss 10 races very impressive. So that would mean Darrah too has attended all races where looks like gravel would be ahead of him including missing 10 races

Im not possitive i am correct but pretty close he has a win and ran the car 2 times the 83sa of Rod Tiner and about 7 to 10 races with the outlaws in the 59 so that leaves about 5to 8 races he was not at the outlaw show so if take the average of his finishes he was there and multiply the ones he was not at would be between 700 to 900 points,,,,,,would move him up a few positions,,,, if he was in the Roth car all yr i think he would be up to between 2 and 5th......just my take on it......

I thank you for all the clarification ...
when do teams start making their decision's as to whom will be driving ttheir cars for the following year? 2015
any news who Stewart will have in Kinsers car?
who plans on running the outlaws next year?
will anyone be driving the Swindel Big game Car?
will young gun Gravel be in the 83?

My opinions from the sprint car mecca known as Virginia:
Paul McMahan sign a platinum contract as late as the March Ca. swing last year. Conversely I'm sure some teams are already making plans for next year.
So far, Stewart has said that Kinser will be in the Kinser car, just won't be making the full tour.
Other than the King dropping off, the only other name officially announced has been Shane Stewart going on the full tour. It seems that some teams have made comments about seeing how things go this year, but none of them have really made big impacts in my opinion, so who knows.
No official announcement, but I hope that seeing Dollansky trek out East is a sign of good things to come next year for him.
I think Gravel has earned a full season in the car, but it seems Roth can be fickle at times, so who knows?
