Above is our extended forecast for this week. The rain you see a chance on Saturday is suppose to be for late late Friday night into Saturday morning. Since Nebraska is playing the Miami Hurricanes at home this week they are watching this closely. They do not expect any rain to be around here on Saturday afternoon or night.

The above forecast indicates there is a possibility of rain Saturday morning. I have went to several different weather related sites and am seeing that if does rain, it is suppose to be done by noon. If it does rain, the track will do EVERYTHING in their power to get the infield rolled in and ready to go even if we have to start a little bit late on Saturday night.

And everything I'm seeing says that it will be around a 1/2" of rain so still very workable. Can't wait for this weekend.

This is one of those races that you wait 365 days to see again, given the expected field of cars I think this is going to be a must see event

Jack...there are a block of rooms set aside at the Marriot just by Cabela's in Omaha right along interstate. There are going to be several teams staying there...I think the room race is right around the $100 per night range. Otherwise, there are several hotels in that area.
