The first person to name the winner of Friday night’s show (prior to heat race action) in this thread will receive a free pass to watch Saturday’s LIVE Video broadcast on DIRTVision.com. If you have already purchased the weekend package on the site you will receive credit for a future broadcast.
Hot laps tonight begin at 9:30 pm eastern.

Gold Cup down to 41 cars, this once elite race is now just another event on the schedule.

Same old story. Less purse, lower car count. The years of $50,000 to win drew close to or over 100 cars. Still a prestigeous race to win.

One thing that did stay the same from the old days is the ticket price. Still $50 for reserved seats, haha

It does seem terrible what has happened to the Gold Cup. Forty-one cars? Yikes.

Expect to see a few cars there tonight that were not.there last night. Economics the #1 reason why only racing 1 night. Very lil support of cars from Oregon or Washington anymore either.
