This weekend, Saturday Night at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Ia. will be a three thousand payday for the MOWA 410 Sprints and a Stellar $2000 to win 305 event on the same card. I hope all the Knoxville Mafia shows up along with several of the Knoxville 305 Regulars. Will be lightning fast as always, and make sure to come on out to 34 Raceway and witness some great racing with some of the top drivers in the Midwest. BE THERE.......

Another infomercial. Nice purse? How do we know it's nice? Doesn't the purse still mean the amount for each position? They call it transparency when you publish the PURSE.

Nice "purse" if you win the thing. It's a 2k drop from first & 2nd place. 250 to start for a 410 show. I thought they'd be paying more. 9 th place finish will get you 300$. Seems maybe why other guys are leaving the state to race instead of pointing S.E. Saturday. Hope they put on a good show, all classes. 305s might have big sign in sheet with 2k to win it.

Why all the haters on 34? Most track do the same thing with their purse and most drivers are there to win. Hoping for a good show with a healthy car count. Shaping up to be great weather for a good night of racing on a very exciting track. One of my favorites.

Sorry but most of the Knoxville travelers are heading to the IRA race for $7000 to win.

Actually most guys are trying to not loose as much money as you and I made this week. I think most hope they find a way to win but 5 guys think they will win.

I dont disagree with you at all. I said most think they have at least a shot but not all. Nearly all tracks do this larger sum for 1st though to grab the bigger name drivers and get decent crowds. As for the guys who finish near the middle to the back of the 305s they are there to have fun and gain experience not to make money. I get it that they dont want to lose as much as they make during the week and if they keep the car clean and dont break down itll help. The track is only trying to get guys like me excited about seeing these large car counts filled with good drivers so they can make money to stay open. If more of us would go watch the races maybe they would have deeper purses but it isnt always the case.
