Anticipation Builds for the Casey's General Stores Midwest Fall Brawl III
The ASCS National 360s return to I-80
Anticipation continues to build for one of the biggest 360 Sprint Cars events of the year as the Casey's General Store Midwest Fall Brawl III is just three weeks away. The race should attract many of the best Sprint Car drivers in the country and is scheduled at I-80 Speedway for September 18 thru 20.
In addition to the regular purse, the ASCS National event has lots of extra monies at stake, the biggest of which is the $50,000 Durst Motorplex/Hotrod Paintless Dent Repair Double Down Back-2-Back Challenge bonus that will be paid out if a driver can win both ASCS National features. But thats just the beginning, theirs $5,500 in lap money put up by die-hard sprint car fans, $2,500 for Friday nights feature and $3,000 for Saturday night.
There's the $1,000 a night Hard Charger Award posted by Don Long and Searsboro Telephone Company and the $300 per night Podium Draw sponsored by Electrical Systems, Inc. Kevin Deberg of Deberg Concrete has posted $250 per night for the “Fastest Lap” during racing action. Leon Zeitner of Zeitner & Sons Trucking has posted $100 each night for the “First Car Out of the A-Feature Hard Luck Award.”
Then there's the recently added Mike Avilla Racer Appreciation Award which goes to the 5th place finisher of each night's B main (the first car that does not advance to the A feature). That fund honoring Carwash Mike is up to $900 at last report. So there will be all kinds of money up for grabs at the Casey’s General Stores Midwest Fall Brawl III.
