Multiple people close to Stewart said that statement he made today came straight from him and nobody else!

I think he never saw him until it was too late, but you're pretty naive if you think he wrote that himself and it wasn't pre-rehearsed. Ever since they messed up with the business as usual deal and tried to let him race the next day what they say has been carefully scripted.

All of you TS fans should be HappIeeeee as NASCAR has decided to let Tony in their little show called the "CHASE". Kinda brings back memories about Gordon getting in the big show after some figured out that points gained by finishing positions let or kept out some above or below the cutoff line. Bottom line, if you are a "star", you are in no matter what.
Tony's incident was at a sprint car track and not a NASCAR event so why should they have any say whatsoever. I guessed it's called politics or who do you love.

You mean when the two MWR cars cheated and purposely changed the outcome of the race so it would eliminate Gordon and put Bowyer in the chase???

Tony is not in the chase as of now. But if he wins one or both the next races he would be able to be in the chase.

He's NOT in the Chase and will likely not be. They have allowed him to be elgible if he was to win one of the final 2 races. Its pretty unlikely it will happen.
