I apologize up front..non-racing topic. However all my racing buddies are football fans and I see a lot of football hats/shirts at the races. So, lets make our picks for fun. Tell me your favorite NFL and collegiate teams, then pick the champs, if different.
Here's mine:
Favorite NFL team: Pittsburgh Steelers
Favorite college team: Penn State
Super Bowl champ: Denver Broncos (couldn't do the homer pick there..8-8, 9-6 for my Steelers)
Nat champ: Michigan State (tired of the SEC and FSU)
Who ya got?

Favorite NFL team: Da Bears (I know Maddog will agree)
Favorite College team: Northwestern (love the fact that they have been mostly a winning team with very high academic standards)
Super Bowl champs: Denver (Manning's revenge)
College National Champ: Wisconsin (let's go with a big shocker--what the hell)

NFL - The 13 time Champion, Green Bay Packers. Hows that EGRAS???
College - I want Wisconsin to win as I am a full blown Cheesehead, but other than that, I don't have a favorite, but I have started watching college ball a lot more since Russell Wilson was on the Badgers. Any game between top football schools is a good thing.
Super Bowl Champs - I'd love to say the Pack, but I am a realist and their Defense is still suspect. If you are a fan of Football, you know as long as Aaron Rodgers is healthy, they are a threat. I do not have a 'solid' team to pick but maybe I'd go with Seattle to repeat.

Super Bowl: Hey, I'll drink my own team's Kool Aid, Lets go with the Bengals. After all, we do have a 100million QB now! (sarcasim).

Aaron Rodgers is the most overrated player in the league.

nice one Stan! I LOL'd
NFL- Packers
NCAA- Badgers by default
Super Bowl- 49ers
National Champs- kinda hard not to pick Bama
I enjoy watching a good football game no matter who is playing. I try not to be too much of a homer. I'm happy when my favorite teams do well, but I'm not going to let the losses wear on me. I grew up in the 80's as a Packer fan. We sucked for a while. As a Milwaukeean I've been a Bucks & Brewers fan and it hasn't exactly been a lifetime of monumental earth shattering victories.

Sheesh, we even have morons involved in this thread, dang....
My favorite team is the last team that covered (the spread) for me but I did have a St. Bernard named Butkus back in the early 70's, hint hint....
Wouldn't surprise me to see a repeat Super Bowl with perhaps a different outcome...
