IRA is putting on a doubleheader at Wilmot this weekend along with the Kenosha County Fair. Plus on Saturday is the Roger Isles Memorial race which is for a larger purse. I know a couple of years ago it paid $7k to win but they don't usually advertise the larger purse. Any outsiders coming with MOWA and Knoxville off? Would be good to see a few travelers come in. I know I saw Sheldon Haudenschild will be back in the Hartnell #48. Anyone else outside the area coming?
Plus if they want to make it a three day weekend head up to the IRA show at Seymour on Sunday.

I'm almost positive it was last year for the big purse. I thought it was $7200, twice the 36 of Roger Iles. It would be nice to see some stragglers, weather is supposed to be great.

They don't want the IRA to kick their Knoxville ass with half the budget. Kind of like your PA pussy. Can't leave the porch because they get there ass whoop.

I don't know what the situation is this weekend as far as purse money goes, but the year Paul May won $7200, they paid an extra $100/lap for the leader of each lap in the feature. Paul May led all 36 laps of the A main, which equaled an extra $3600 on top of the $3600 that it was to win.
"They'll learn."

The ira will kick the Knoxville regulars ass at any neutral track I have seen it many times.
For the the PA pussy they can't leave the porch. At any other track they are nothing more than field fillers. Look at Knoxville last week most couldn't make it out of the C main

You are correct. I knew it was $7200 that he won, but couldn't remember exactly how they arrived at that number.

Wilmot and the IRA were fine last night. 39 410's signed in. Track was crap but they should have it better tonight for the big payout race. Balog pulled off after a spin in 4 while leading and Schultz got the win. Sexton took a Sexton tumble on a restart due to a MSA guy getting sideways. Tonigt will be better and the rain is all but out of the forecast.
I tell it like I see it.

I'm not so sure that Sexton's wreck can be blamed on anyone, hammer down for the green, maybe someone didn't get as good a start, lifted wheels on the crappy ass track, and Tommy ran him over. Just a racing deal. JMO

Thats what i saw too, the 02 got into Martins left front and he checked up to straighten out and Sexton went right over his RR. Was right in front of us, glad Sexton was ok... Did look like it was just a racing deal on a rough track on a hard start. On the plus side, it was nice to see another MSA driver step into a 410, held off Rose in the heat race and looked smooth. All in all the family and i had a great time, just wish there had been less cautions and delays.

Yeah, the delays really sucked. I have no idea why there was so much water on the track. It did not rain all week. Sprints and 1 1/2 support classes and we didn't get out of there until after 11:20? No urgency to get cars on the track between races. Fair was shutting down as we walked out of gate. Shame....
