If I understand your question, just the final night counted.

I believe you are wrong. As far as counting as wins, I believe the two prelim nights also count as official WOO wins.
I am not 100% on this.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

dsc is correct, only the final night counts as a WoO win. Prelim nights are not counted - though they should be, especially when you consider the incredible competition for those nights!

I thought this was not a sanctioned W of O show, am I wrong? Johnny announced the W of O name in his famous intro which I was confused by because I didn't think it was a sanctioned show. Help me out, Johnny you out there?

It was sanctioned in name only. Woo put it on their schedule, counted the A main on Saturday as a woo event win and had Johnny as the announcer. Other than that, it seems knoxville ran the show entirely.

what points being awarded on the final night?
The WoO only award "show up" points for the Knoxville Nationals. Every team received 75 points no matter if they won the A or ran last in the E

Prelim nights definately do not count as WoO wins. Kyle Larson (all this Tony Stewart talk has kept his name out of the boards too long!) has 4 official WoO listed: GC '11 & '12, then Stockton & Antioch in '13. His prelim win at the Nationals in 2012 and his Friday night win last year are not counted per the WoO official site.
