8 in the show...
5 of the top 8 finishers...
Obviously Brown is the 2nd best car at Knoxville, but Dollansky, Henderson, McCarl, and Dobmeier were all capable of a podium finish.
Hard luck again to Maeschen. Have to believe had he not had that freak issue in his heat Friday he would have easily locked into A for Saturday and had a great chance for a top 10 on such a fast heavy track. Kid is owed some good luck for sure.

As good as any in the business, I believe if this caliber of a race was held at the Grove - the locals would also put 8 in the feature. Likewise at Attica/Fremont.
Great to see so many regions have such strong local talent.

Great job by the locals. Was nice to see Clint make the A after a so-so year. Maeschen did have some bad luck. Horrible pill draw buried heskin in qualifying, half second slower than lap he ran in hot laps.
Seems like every year a few more locals make it in the A!

3 of the Top 6 and 5 of the top 8 is inpressive.... Also one of the others in those figures is Kerry who is a past track champion.... All in all a great effort.....
Great to see Bunton in the A..... Wish I had bet of him to make the A.... The odds on that would have made for a very good payoff..... Congratulations to All the Knoxville locals...
