LATE MODEL TEAMS: Here's your chance to tackle RED RIVER SPEEDWAY!
Wichita Falls, TX (8/8/14) by DarinShort.com. The new Red River Speedway (RRS) in Wichita Falls, TX is pleased to announce the Patterson Auto Group Late Model Showdown, Friday September 5th at RRS.
This huge event for the Late Models will pay $2,000 to win and $200 to start.
And today, an event registration page has launched at http://www.rrspeedway.com/090514.html for Late Model teams to get pre-registered - and save $50 over race night registration pricing.
Late Model teams are urged to get pre-registered as soon as possible, so we can keep fans informed of the drivers that will be on hand.
This event also sets the stage for potential future Late Model events - so Late Model drivers - this is your chance if you want to race at RRS!
The track has put up a very solid purse for this event for the Late Models:
Patterson Auto Group Late Model feature payback: $2,000 - 1,000 - 900 - 800 - 700 - 600 - 500 - 400 - 300 - 250 - 200...to start. $50 to any NQ's.
There is a $50 Late Model early registration fee, which can be paid electronically at the link above via PayPal (you do not have to be a member to use). Early registration runs through August 31st (5 days before the race). Entries received after that date or at the track will be $100.

Joining the Late Models will be a complete program for the Champ Sprints (paying $1,000 to win), Limited Modifieds (paying $750 to win); plus the Pro Stocks and Mini Stocks will each be racing for $300 to win. Adult tickets are just $15 (ages 12-64), while Kids are $5 (ages 6-11), ages 5 and under are free (with adult admission), and Seniors/Active Military just $10. All pit passes are $30.

Here are the specifics for the Friday, September 5th racing program at Red River Speedway:
-Pits open at 5pm, Grandstands open at 6pm, Draw Cut off & Drivers Meeting at 7pm sharp, Track Packing at 7:15pm, Hot Laps at 7:30pm, Opening Ceremonies at 7:55pm, and racing starts at 8pm
-General Admission just $15 (ages 12 to 64)
-Kids (ages 6-11) just $5
-Ages 5 and under admitted free with Adult admission
-Active Military and Seniors (Ages 65+): $10
-All Pit Passes $30
-No outside food, drinks and/or coolers allowed through ticket gates; a full selection of economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available.
