Does anyone know how many cars they have to have to invert 10 in the heat races?

I beleive it's 8 if there's under 50 cars on the qualifying night and 10 if there's over 50 cars.

That should not matter, because only a maximum of 50 cars run in the heat races.

I know that they used to invert 10, and then when the car count started dropping they started inverting 8. From what I understand, the reason was so that they didn't have an extremely slow car at the front of a heat causing problems. Now that the car count looks like it's going to be about 55 per night I was just wondering if they were going to go back to inverting 10. I liked it better when it was 10.

I was gonna tell you that they need to update their website to the new invert but I see they finally got it listed as inverting 8 cars instead of a "complete invert".
I guess 4 yrs of false advertising were finally enough.
Now if only they'd just go back to the "complete invert" like it should be.
Makes for better heat races.
