Yes they can. Madsen is running for sure tonight. I think the outlaws make an exception for this race.

I think all were there last year except schatz and Kinser. Should be another huge field.

I believe its fine because there isn't a WoO event going on tonight anyways and Knoxville holds WoO sanctioned events so therefore they are free to race there at non-sanctioned events.

This so called "race" is a joke, its just a tune up for the nationals, went last year and was very dissappointed, my advice save your money.

Looking at the results it seems the folks that transferred started in P 1, 2, 3, or 4. Exception to that was Brown who started 5th. Not there but seems like a regular weekly show where you pick the front row for winners because the races are so short and the field so close on time.
The local star Brown got two spots. While there may have been some great action I long for the times where everyone did not run the same speed and you could invert 10 and have the inverted cars make their way to the front.

Yep, watching 6 to 10 great drivers battle for 3 transfer spots in all 8 races so far has sucked. I update my nomination to dumbest post of the decade.

I think the key part of the above post was "not there" part. If you weren't there or didn't watch online, you couldn't possibly have seen the excellent racing.

So my opinion is different than yours so its automatically the dumbest post of the year. Very intelligent response.

71 cars at a sprint car race is a joke??? I would second Mr. Klootwyk's motion.

It's not that your opinion was different than mine, it's that your opinion was dumb.

If you didn't pay for a ticket or pay for the online PPV you don't have much to complain about. Of course, those that did pay for a ticket or bought the online PPV don't have much to compain about either because they saw a hell of a show.

Great racing all night long.
WoO cars could run becuase (1) they hold a race there, (2) more than 250 miles from the night previous' race and (3) more than 48 hours before their next scheduled race.
I'm sure the WoO brass aren't too happy though. The fans basically got a better show than an Outlaw show (minus Schatz, Kinser, Kinser and Sides) with 71 cars, Time Trials, 6 heats, 2 B-mains and a 25 lap feature that had hotlaps start @ 6:45 and the final checker wave @ 10:08 PM all for $20.
Looking forward to this week, as the track has been "AWESOME" the past 8 race nights in a row.

Very Good Races and the Heats were really tough only taking 3 transfers..... Both B's and the Feature were awesome.... Great night well worth the money!
