Why do you have to call someone a "dumbass" cause they root for Sammy?
Its just racing, anyone can cheer for whoever they want.
Way to go Sammy!

Ignore tardkiller, he's just a baby boy. It pains him greatly when Sammy wins that's why he is the first to post when Sammy doesn't win. The true sign of a douchebag. What.....Sammy DID win. OH YEAH. And he's not done, I guarantee that.

Oh wow, a 360 prelim win! I'll try to keep my spurs from jingling and jangling. He might have a second career in 360's since he can't compete with the WOO anymore. Not just Sammy, but personally I think it's a joke when big name 410 drivers(Sammy, McCarl, Brown, Lasoski, etc.) get the best 360's money can buy to beat up on the support division guys. That's why IMO the 360 Nats have become a joke. It's 5-10 big name 410 guys cherry picking the 360's when they have a chance to race for decent money. That's so lame it's pathetic. Take the training wheels off, put your big boy panties on and head down to I-55 and race with the big boys!

that's funny nobody ever complained when Shane Stewart was beating up on the little guys every year. and everyone was excited when Larson showed up and was trying to take the money home. alot of those 360 drivers are just as good as most 410 drivers out there.

Big money has been meant to draw in big names since forever in racing. He's in Knoxville at the 360 nationals to practice for the $150000 to win 410 nationals. You ass clown.

You beat me to it. I was just going to say the same thing. Nobody seemed to be pissing and moaning the last 4 years when Shane Stewart was "Cherry Picking" the 360 guys instead of running I55. I also didn't hear anyone bitching about Lasoski and Larson putting on one of the best if not THE BEST races of the year in their prelim night last year.

I can kind of see yours and gohotfoots point about Shane and his dominance the past four years at the 360 Nationals. But im not so sure I would call it cherry picking as he had been running the 360's primarily for the past few years with ASCS and driving 360's for other car owners as well. Granted he did run some 410 races as well here and there but he made his living racing 360's.
Just a little humor here but when Shane has run and finished in the top five or ten in the pat few years and when Jason Johnson ran third a few years ago at the 410 Nationals why is it we don't say "them 360 drivers moved up and cherry picked at the 410 Nationals?"
Everybody enjoy their time at the Nationals and be safe!!

Great point. I believe the driver's that come in a week early and run the 360 event get a chance to compete for great money and as a benefit they get to fine tune their set up for the next week.
If you look at the results current track experience plays a key role. The locals have had some success with top ten runs the last few years in the 410 Nationals. It seems to come down to laps on track helping really good racers have good runs.
Most of the WoO teams are good enough the one trip through earlier in the year along with prior notes will be enough. For others we have seen them struggle to make it through their heats the last couple years. Some of the WoO guys needed to transfer from the B on qualifying nights and on Saturday.
Love this time of year....

And calling the 360's a support division is down right hilarious. They haven't been a "support" division in ten years or more. 5-10 410 guys running the 360 nationals? I just counted 34 that currently are, or were at one time full time 410 guys. And thinking the so called 5-10 big name guys are the only ones that have the best 360s money can buy is down right ignorant. I can guarantee there are 30-40 cars in the field that have more $$$ in their 360s than Lasoski and McCarl do. Oh, and Sammys 360 is borrowed and isn't even theirs. Quit whining and just sit back and enjoy the best racing of the year!! :-)

Holden,
Isn't that in ways similar to the days when legends like Foyt, Bettenhousen, Opperman, etc. would drop in on the big pay races, or a local track on any given night to race? Or, a few years back when outlaw drivers would drop in to the short tack nationals to compete? The best went wherever and whenever to compete at the biggest races and for the biggest purses.
I find it perplexing that people who experienced those times often talk with admiration about that era and drivers doing things like that, yet, drivers doing the same today are berated and labeled "cherry pickers".

Thank you !
Do the fans that call 360's a step down, support group, or minor leagues, think they are a lot cheaper to run than a 410 ? Besides a few less dollars in the motor they cost nearly the same to fund.
