Kenny Jacobs won an all-star show at Lincoln when he was an all-star. Dale Blaney beat the Port Royal regulars by half a track earlier this year, although it wasn't an all-star show. The ascoc have always struggled at the Grove but they've been competetive and had their moments at other PA tracks. I remember an all-star race at Selinsgrove back in the late 90's where Butch Schroeder had a straightaway lead and no-one was catching him but the caution came out late in the race and Todd Shaffer jumped him on the re-start.

Haha, poor Cubes.

I likes madsen's description of the Grove as sprint car's version of road racing. Tough track for sure, tough competiton. Blaney and Holtgraver have been good at Port Royal lately.

Schatz is 7 out of the last 8. Schatz's crew chief is from Pennsyltucky. Last person to win the Nationals other than a Schatz was from Pennsyltucky. Let us know when a corn country regular can win a blue ribbon at any place other than the Iowa State Fair.

It is true, if only a posse team could get Warner and not love their own beds so much, the country would be dominated by the PA contingent.

So let me get this straight--The intent of this thread was to rip on the All Stars and pound your chest about the Posse, right?  Posse never claimed the 83 team--even after he won the Nationals.  Now, he is the center piece of an argument for Pennsylvania greatness--by winning 1 of the last 8 nationals--and he belonged to the very organization (The All Stars) you started ripping on at the start of your thread.  ????

I am so lost right now.  And by the way, even if you could claim anyone from PA, would you really want to brag about being 1 for 8?

Sorry Cubic, but you have to be drunk right now.
