I know it's gone, to bad. The car Johnny is driving is the same #45x that his dad has owner forever and the same one Ricky was in that night, at least the number has always been the same. I can remember when Bobby seals was running, if I'm not mistaken he put it over the fence at Manzy or at least tried. LOL
I saw the opener ( Woo) at Hollywood hills and it was a disaster. I was driving by on my way to my fishing hole and I stopped to take more pictures and they had piles of dirt staged all around ready to be spread. I went up to one of the guys "are you going to put that down, where did you get it". He said, I swear, "Oh we found a good place about six miles from here". They never even got the qualifying in that night. It was god awfully fast for the first few out and then little and then bigger puffs of "smoke" started kicking up where they jacked it into one. It was so predictable that I caught both cars in the air that flipped with my new camera. They worked all night and ran both shows back to back the next day. I think they were running as much on straw and rubber as dirt at the end. LOL. The last show I saw there was USAC's Western states final show where they crowned Mike Boat. I like the place.
Kenny
P.S. Who ever believed that more " national exposure" would put more cars on the track or fans in the seats? I can't believe they sold that one...
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.
