First off i want to say i'm not a fan. I haven't supported Donny since 04ish. I do however respect him for the amazing driver he is. I never see him race anyone dirty. I don't recall him ever putting anyone down or calling them out. He just simply straps in and does his job which is to win races. He might not be great with the fans but not all of the drivers are. I would love to see a new winner this year or even a repeat i guess as long as it's not the 15. I really thought last year was going to be that year. He started 22nd? 21 of the best drivers in the world are in front of him. Yes he will pass some cars and make some $ but to win? No way. i didn't see that coming. He put on a show. He drove the wheels off the car like he is payed to do. It's not like he won from the pole and ran away and hid with it. It was exciting. History was made that night if i remember right. So Donny pulls in to victory lane and gets out of the car to celebrate and place boos him? It's a free country. You paid for your ticket just like i did but to boo the man for doing his job and earning it the way he did? I must look at things different from others. i wasn't happy but i wasn't about to boo the man for working his tail off and doing his job. I have been going to Saturday night at Nationals since 06. Nothing to brag about i know but i have seen every one of his wins there. Even the time David (Shaffer) slayed the giant (Schatz). At this point i just look at it as im watching history. IF he beats Kinser's win record at Nationals i can say i was there for all of them. Just my 2 cents. Good luck to The Madman and Shane Stewart this year.
