I've never been to Osky before. Is this an event that I need to get tickets for in advance or can I get them at the door? Also, what time do you recommend getting there for a decent seat?

Since I stay in Pella for the beginning part of the week and am close to the track, I've always gotten my seats around noon the day of. Last year there was a really big crowd because of Stewart racing, but in recent years the crowds have been down. There is also a large infield crowd that takes the pressure off the main grandstand. You're packed like sardines if you get stuck in the middle of a high row, so it may be worth getting there a bit early to get a seat closer to the aisle.
