Looks like TheCushion has finally put up the pricing for the Nationals on PPV with a slight increase from last year.
August
- August 1: Knoxville 360 Nationals Night 2 | Knoxville Raceway | 360s | $20.00
Cushion Premium & VIP Members Price: $18.00 (discount shows at checkout)
- August 2: Knoxville 360 Nationals Night 3 Finals | Knoxville Raceway | 360s, 305s | $25.00
Cushion Premium & VIP Members Price: $18.00 (discount shows at checkout)
- August 3: Capitani Classic | Knoxville Raceway | KCCS Race 17 | 410s | $20.00
Cushion Premium & VIP Members Price: $22.50 (discount shows at checkout)
- Aug 6-9: Knoxville Nationals | 4-Day Package | Knoxville Raceway | 410s | $139.00
Cushion Premium & VIP Members Price: $125.00 (save $40 over individual pricing – discount shows at checkout)
- August 6: Knoxville Nationals Night 1 | Knoxville Raceway | 410s | $39.00
Cushion Premium & VIP Members Price: $35.00 (discount shows at checkout)
- August 7: Knoxville Nationals Night 2 | Knoxville Raceway | 410s | $39.00
Cushion Premium & VIP Members Price: $35.00 (discount shows at checkout)
- August 8: Knoxville Nationals Night 3 + World Challenge | Knoxville Raceway | 410s | $42.00
Cushion Premium & VIP Members Price: $37.75 (discount shows at checkout)
- August 9: Knoxville Nationals Night 4 Finals | Knoxville Raceway | 410s | $45.00
Cushion Premium & VIP Members Price: $40.00 (discount shows at checkout)
Last year was about $124 for non-subscribers and a 10% discount for subscribers.
Paying 85% of a regular ticket ($139 for non-subscribers as opposed to $165 for the lowest four-night tickets). Not a move in the right direction with the increase but it's not horrendous.
Wish there would be an option for 360 Nats + Capitani + 410 Nats, but then it probably gets into division of revenue between the different groups.

Same price as buying a ticket and going in person. That's steep.

yet multiple people can watch it for that 1 ticket cost, and it seems in line with any other type of PPV event on TV.

Not really steep at all if you think about the fact that more than 1 person will, in all probability be viewing. Say you have 4 people watching........it add's up to 35 bucks a night. These people aren't in the broadcast business for our luxury. They need to make a proffit or it will go away. Add on your cost of driving to the races, lodging, food and other stuff and it is dang cheap if you ask me.

Getting near ticket price is not the best way to maximize revenue. A large majority of viewers will have no other possible way to watch it - you can't call that lost revenue to the track. If the PPV didn't exist, the track would get zero from that majority.
They should view the PPV as a completely separate entity when making decisions regarding price point.
Will there be people who could go live and choose to watch on PPV? Absolutely. But by pricing based on specifically those people, they're going to be pricing out potential customers who won't pay near the price of the ticket for the PPV.

Is there any kind of Guarantee? I am tires of watching shows and there are 45 minute gaps or login issues due to over subscription. If I pay I want to watch...period. No Excuses!

Drinking beers in the man cave with no risk of a DUI. Priceless.
They struggled with a few glitches last Saturday night but they replayed the races and offered 50% off for this week's races or a 50% refund. Their price for a weekly show is only $15 so it's a great option when one is not able to attend their local track. I do have one recommendation though, be sure to logon and get the broadcast before cracking open that first few beers. I'd have saved myself a lot of grief signing on if my vision had been more clear.
When we attend races at Knoxville it's six hours each way from Forest Lake, Minnesota, (don't know how Brooke can make that drive every week). By the time my son and I split the cost of a room (usually in Newton) and pay for gas we're easily at $100+ for one night of racing. The PPV is a bargain at any price compared to that. Depending on the weather and our local racing I may opt for the final night of the Nationals on PPV again this year. The Cushion has improved the resolution of their broadcast and we patch it into an HDTV from a laptop so it's easy on the eyes.

I've found their coverage and reliabitly as good or better than any other PPV sprint car races. Last year dirt vision was hit and miss, and whenever I saw a race at Knoxville, it was awesome from every respect.
I guess the price is fair, but might be too steep for me this year. Last year I bought the year long package from dirtvision and watched as many WOO races i could. This year I only purchased Las Vegas and haven't been back since. I was a big WOO fan last year, but not watching it this year, I've lost my enthusiam for the WOO. I guess I found better things to do, or have gone to more motor sport events
I would think if the PPV was lower, it would be good for the WOO in the long run. I couldn't even tell u who is having a good year, other than presume Donnie is doing good again?
Cheers
AND YES, KNOXVILLE COVERAGE IS AWESOME for the most part. I'll get a night or two, but buying all the nights is a chuck of change I would rather spend elsewhere like going to Tulare this weekend for big doubleheader of KWS/USAC 360

Why get on here and tell us you have not even kept up with WoO at all this year? Also Donny Schatz name is not "Donnie". World of Outlaw's racing has been great almost every night this year, there have been a few rubber down races but that is to be expected.
I can not understand why every sprint car fan does not have a subscribtion to The Cushion. It is HD quality and they always have the camera on the best action on the track. They have the races up usually the next day. Their coverage is 100X better than Dirtvision. I realize that it is streaming so quality will be lower but it is still not comparable. The cover 98% of all WoO races, All Stars and Knoxville weekly. They also have a few other shows randomly where they can get their camera too.
As for their Knoxville coverage, it is the best in the business. Last week was the first time I have every had an issue. Dirtvision or racinboys almost always has issues.
I will be purchasing the 360 Nationals package for $50.00 (For members) you can not beat that for 3 days of racing.
I will be attending the 410 Nationals but if I was not there would be no way I would miss it online. If you are sprint car fan you should be watching no matter what.

The Cushion's coverage and reliability has been outstanding. Zero complaints from me. I would love to go in person but I will be buying the 410 Saturday show again this year. Worth every penny. I have no problem with a small price increase if it means they continue improving their service.

My question is will Johnny Gibson be announcing for this PPV coverage? Will Dirtvision have PPV coverage and free audio? I have no problem paying for audio or video, but I want to listen to the best in the business call the race, and in my opinion, that is Johnny Gibson!

Great deal. Saves me a ton on hotel, gas, food, beer, angry wife and kids. Skip the 12+ hr drive and watch it in the garage with a few buddies, probably less then $10/piece for the saturday program. Nationals on one tv and Browns vs Lions on another, pork loin in the smoker, beer in hand. Going to be a great night in ohio!

Wow what a bunch of cheap ass complainers. Hell maybe you could sit in the Hyvee parking lot and just listen. What's it cost to go eat, what's a movie cost, what's a gallon of ethanol based fuel cost or even a bushell of corn. People 20 bucks is a good deal if you can't be there in person for the race.

Only two of the shows are $20. What's the difference from last year's Nationals to this year's Nationals which qualifies for a raising of price? Serious question.

GA prices are:
Thursday and Friday 360's $20
Saturday 360's $25
Cappi Classic $20
Cheapest Reserved for 410 Nationals
Wed and Thurs $39
Friday $42
Saturday $45
If you aren't going to attend, you shouldn't get to watch any cheaper than those attending in person IMO (to stay home and watch on TV, eat your own food, and not deal with weather, the people sitting beside you, etc.)
Is it cheap? No, but it's still cheaper than attending in person.
