I should be sitting at camp with my Indiana Buddies sippin on some Bud Lites getting ready to go across the Hwy and buy a few Royal Flushes at the bar off Ole Ted and talk racing . Instead I'm sitting here in Podunk Iowa with out!!! Next Year for sure.

I know your pain. I should be going to Eldora for Kings Royal weekend and then Indiana sprint week, but instead I have to go to an in-laws wedding.

Get the same mood every year myself:
Went to what was going to be my first of many in 1986. Witnessed Mr. Kreitz win. Chanted "PA Posse" with many others in Victory Lane (everyone calm down - take a deep breath). "Life" got in the way, haven't been back since. One of my greatest memories....could still see "Eldora Speedway welcomes ABC's Wide World of Sports" in faded paint on the backstretch wall.

I plan my drive home to Denver from East Coast to hit Knoxville the last few years. Still trying to figure out how to fit in Indiana Speedweek, can't see driving all the way from Ct. & back. I think I'll fly to Kokomo Smackdown after I get back!
Its only money, right?

Well one of my Favorite Drivers Won it. Way to go Madman. Great Victory for one of the Knoxville Guys. On the positive side of not getting to go to the Kings Royal this year, Right now I would be making that Gruelling 8 hour drive after 3 days in the heat, sippng on Barley Pops and staying up most of the night..... Don't miss the drive home for sure
