SOUTHWEST POINT BATTLE CONTINUES AT ARIZONA SPEEDWAY
The all-time lead in terms of USAC feature victories in the state of Arizona continues to be tossed back and forth like a football and this Saturday night’s race at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek could see another “handoff” of sorts.
Series point leader R.J. Johnson has 15 career Arizona wins, while series runner-up Charles Davis Jr. has 14. They have accounted for six of the last eight Southwest Sprint wins, each grabbing three. They also have split the two races so far at Queen Creek!
Only Shon Deskins and Josh Pelkey have interrupted their victory streak lately. Pelkey stands third and Deskins fourth in the most recent point tally.

Did they not RACE last nite Sat. 7/12 @ Az. Spdway???....nothing posted anywhere I've shearched!!..Az.Spdway,USAC,ABC,SCRAFan!!..... I was committed elsewhere!!...thanks !!......

19 cars....... If I remember right heats won by Davis Rossie and RJ probably nothing official because main finish got changed as cars parked on front stretch........davis led for about 26 laps rim riding....had a yellow with about 4 laps to go ... so shipley droped low on restart and passed davis a little later pelky passed davis same method. checkerd fell with shipley pelky davis....however it was announced to the fans shipley jumped start so pelkey gets the win davis 2nd and shipley set back 2 positions to 3rd......probably under protest

Thanks scoreboard!!...much appreciated by all looking here, I'm sure!!....also clarifies what happened,why it mite be up in air stil, as far as, final results and or any protests that mite be filed for any Rules infractions!!...but it sounds like Penilties were already asessed!!....it was said, theres alota talk about it on Facebook!!.........
