Tracey Clay's historic I-30 Speedway will host WINGLESS Sprints 1 month from today, Saturday Aug 9, when she hosts the Inaugural "One Night Stand Invitational at Hammer Hill"
305 sprint racers from all over the Mid-south, and from as far away as Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana look to make their way to the famed red clay bull ring for the $1000 to win/$200 start A main.
"Considering the resurgence in popularity of 305 sprints over the last year, and with no USAC show in the mid-south for 2014, it only made sense to put this deal together. Fans in this part of the country still have a lot of fond memories of when these cars were wingless, but rarely get to see a non-wing show now unless they travel to Indiana or Illinois. We felt the timing was right, and look for a great turn out for this event." said I-30 promoter Tracey Clay.
Former MSCA spokesperson, Jay Adams noted: "Tracey and I have a really good relationship, and she's great to work with. When I was helping head up the MSCA group last year, we put on a couple of 305 shows over there and turned out to be some of the best shows we saw all year. It's a racey little joint for sure. These guys will be getting around there pretty good and I think a lot of people will be surprised."
