I guess the rumor has been put to rest with the announcement tonight on speed.

Well if you didn't see the interview on speed tonight, Donny said he will become a team member of the 20 car next year, so this means Tony owns Donny's team for next year.

I agree, Donnie will now have to reveal his secrets of winning. Nothing against Paul, have known him since he was a kid, Just don't think he is the guy to win many WoO races. When he was younger and before his bad crash he was much more aggressive. Since then he no longer has that drive. Think the same thing happened to Hannagan. For some that first big wreck effects you one way or another.

I agree with Twenty8.....I was really hoping McMahon would win it, but his driving style just isn't agressive enough......I don't mean drive over some one agressive, I mean stand on the loud pedal, make some slide job attempts at least.......he's a good driver, but seems way to conservative...... some people may not have liked a couple of the slide jobs that t-mac tried on Donny, but damn, he's agressive!! I thought they were both goners on that 1st slide job!! Yikes!! But to GREAT drivers just drove right thru it & kept the hammer down!!
Now Wimmer, that's a different story! He's luck they both didn't get hurt....WTF was he thinking? He was already in the show!

My question is what type of cars and engines will they use. Donny uses j&j and ron shavers where paul mcmahon uses eagle or maxim and kistler engines. Paul better get use to j& j and shavers it seem to work better. Why would they put donny is something that he is not use to?

Ok I can understand that Tony would want drivers that are running good in their own stuff racing for him but I think the move to hire Schatz is kind of stretching it. To me it hurts the competition because there are other guys out there that could use a ride like that. I like Donny but I hope they get beat next year. JMO

Who's the sponsor going to be on the 15? Parkerstore seems to have cut funding this season. Will Snap-On step up? Will there be two Bass Pro cars? Will it be the Home Depot #15? The Old Spice #15? What does everybody think?

From what I understand, the Schatz team will be finishing the year ( 2007) the way they are, with Ricky Warner heading the Schatz team.
Ricky Warner is building a new team, with Schatz driving the car, for TSR for 2008 and the team will be located in Indy.

It's easy to see what Shatz gets out of this. At family dinners daddy won't have to ask where the hell all the money went.Sad state of affairs to see the best team in the sport with tons of available signage oppurtunities all over the car.As for J&J they will be just fine no matter what they decide on runnin chasis wise.

I see this as both Donny and Tony getting something from each other. Tony gets a bunch of info from the best team in WoO at this piont, to help his team that has not run good for about three years. Donny gets to team up with someone that can open some doors for him, to race something in nascar land someday. JMO

After watching the "Nationals" on television Saturday night and seeing Shatz thinking about doing a fence climb, one of the first thing's Tony is going to have to do is to school him on that fine art. Of course it might help if the crashwall below the fencing isn't as high as the Knoxville one.

after watching Donny run across the track when he was thinking of climbing the fence, the first thing Tony needs to do is to introduce his new driver to Jared from Subway.

Didn't anybody else notice that there was wire mesh attached to the fence? There was no way that he could stick his hands or feet through the fence to climb it.
Carry on.
