Blaney probably said to himself, after returning to the speedway with a fresh right rear and seeing Riff Rafferty, Mad Chad and the New Jersey Nightmare directly in front of him, fuck this shit, I actually have a future in racing... :/

Glad to see Lucas win last night, he was way overdue. When I watch him at Port, visions of the mid-1980s come back when dad Randy was running that sharp looking Keen Transport #5W!! I hope Lucas can keep the training rollin' tonight at Selinsgrove....especially since Stevie won't be racing...or at least he's not the last I knew.

Racing excluded, the only negative thing I would say about my Dirt Royal experience would be, They need to take the mufflers off of the cars and put them over the PA speakers...Seriously...

Was it the mufflers that made the few Lincoln cars there sound and look Trailway fast?

Are you talking about Lincolns latest winner that kept the 27 out of the invert even with the phantom caution...? :/

It did not appear that the 27 was racing for money at Lincoln...

This whole Lincoln/Port debate is sooooooooooooooo stupid. I go to Lincoln every week because it's under a 2 hour drive and I love it, but when the 410's aren't on the card I go to Port and I enjoy it just as much if not more.

we all know that each of us are experts on everything we claim to be experts on...but it is very vclear Lucas RACED his way to the title.
how in the name of pete did the 27 lose speedweek to a driver that doesnt even run lincoln?
I will tell you...he sucked at Lincoln and Path Valley....out there marking time.
It used to be called Rahmerweek for good reason...back then you had to RACE every night to win the title.
Lance - sorry about your luck

He didn't sweep it.
And if he had had raced the PA Speedweek, I'd bet he would have won several of those too.....and may not be a bad bet for the Kings Royal or Knoxvile.

Don't kid yourself. If Blaney ran the PA Speedweek, he'd have been top five in points. It's set up for outsiders to come and do well. Path Valley and Grandview get many of the drivers out of their comfort zone that are accustomed to big tracks, and the rest of the races do the same to the Lincoln guys that are used to smaller tracks. Make no mistake, PA Speedweek is not what it used to be. And like you said, Wolfe wasn't even at Lincoln and still won... Wolfe had strong runs all week. Seems kinda embarrassing to have your speedweek won by someone who wasn't even at all the races.
Side note: Bacon was one point out of sixth for the week and he left Thursday.
Now I don't know how points are distributed in Ohio nor in PA (which may make these stats completely irrelevant), but the "Speedweak" points had the fifth place Montieth 463 points back. The Ohio Speedweek had its 17th place finishing Duncan 458 points back. IF they are similar points systems... talk about parity.

Did Lucas earn it Sunday at Selinsgrove, yes...but when you don't even transfer out of your heat because of a blown motor, how is it that you manage to start 10th? This is one instance where a less than full field and a stupid time trial system allowed Lucas to win the title. Kudos to the guys for repairing the car after the crash and then the motor issues..but in no way should have he been starting that high.
