Austin took off at the git with Richard in hot pursuit. It was a Williams sandwich for a few laps before Richard checked up and Cody got by. I didn't see why Austin was suddenly back in fourth, but when Cody took the lead, he had little trouble keeping Mikey behind him. The track was a one laner with goo on either side, so after a couple of test charges at Mike, Damion settled. Bud showed his experience on all those heartland racetracks getting up to fifth. Richard was plain =dominant= in the midgets; no one had anything for him once he took the lead. He was running in the low :15s; the best 410s were running in the low to mid :14s. Dennis Howell's 360 was a screamer most of the night until he flatted his right rear at about lap 25 in the main while in fifth. Faria's 360 was a never a factor, but it was nice to see him back in action after the fiasco at Tulare a few weeks ago. Ten gazillion reds and yellows in both open wheel mains.
