Full Field of SUPR LM’s set to tackle LoneStar’s Firecracker 40 July 5
Kilgore TX (7/3/14) by DarinShort.com. SUPR Late Model series officials have just provided LoneStar Speedway with their stellar list of drivers for this Saturday July 5th, with the 5th running of the $3,000 to win “Firecracker 40.”
Here is a list of many of the SUPR Late Model drivers that fans can expect to see racing this Saturday night at LoneStar Speedway (in no particular order):
Garrett Alberson, Ray Moore, Keith Craft, Brandon Hightower, Jon Wallace, Ronny Adams, Brett Frazier, Anthony Burroughs, Shane Hebert, Rick Duke Jr, Robbie Stuart, Rob Litton, Robbie Starnes, Jon Mitchell, Patrik Daniel, Chad Comer, Zach McMillan, Tyler Erb, Stacy Veuleman, Allen Tippen, Troy Taylor, Skip O'Neal, David Lafleur, Ricky Begnaud, Jason Botsford…and if we have any further updates on additional drivers, we will post them when they become known.
LoneStar Speedway has significantly bumped up the purse for this event in the SUPR Late Model division. Most feature race positions will pay more – including a solid $450 just to start the SUPR feature race. And for those drivers having a rough night and do not qualify for the feature event, they will each receive $200…which is double the normal SUPR non-qualifiers payback.
The complete SUPR Firecracker 40 feature race payback is as follows: $3,000-1,500-1,200-1,000-800-700-600-550-500- 475-450...to start. $200 to all SUPR NQ's.
Fans will enjoy a great fireworks display as well. The SUPR Late Models are currently scheduled to be the second feature race of the night, so fans that are traveling a long distance can choose to get back on the road home earlier.
All three exciting LSS points divisions will be in action, which include $1,200 to win Modifieds, $600 to win for the Limited Modifieds and $400 to win in the Factory Stocks. Complete purse breakdown and rules are posted at the track website. Non-qualifier money is also paid to all race divisions, and there is no entry fee for the LSS points divisions.
Even with the added purse money in all four racing divisions and fireworks, grandstand admission remains unchanged from the other SUPR events at LoneStar, which is $17 for adults. All pit passes for all ages are $35.
A complete event flyer for the Saturday July 5th event is posted under the ‘resources’ section of the track website. Reminder, ‘summer hours’ are in effect with the first race at 8pm.
