Is anybody listening to their coverage of the Nationals?
As they come to the green flag, the announcer says "They hit the fun button and here we go!!!"
Are you kidding me?
That's the absolute worst I've ever heard.....

Oh... don't get me wrong. I'm VERY happy what they're doing for me. He's actually a very good announcer.

Are you kidding me? Why complain when they allow us to listen to something we can't be at. Hot Rod Pattison and Bill Wright do a great job and I commend them both for their hard work in bringing us all of the action.

Yeah, it's all good except for the fun button thing. Once per night would be plenty Rod. I know that every announcer needs sort of a signature expression but I think it's time to come up with some alternatives. Reminds me of an occasion many years ago at the racetrack in my hometown of Huron, SD. The announcer used to use, and over use, the awful phrase, "He's putting his foot through the carburetor!" (Obviously it was late models and not sprint cars). One night my friend won the feature and at a party after the races I told him how lame it sounded and that he used it far too often. I never heard him use it again . . .

Thought the guys put on a great show where they had to fill in many non racing periods.Kept us entertained and I thought the FUN comment was great as there is no greater FUN than a SPRINTCAR FEATURE RACE.Thanks from Australia boys well done.

The only part that buged me was that they had to hold up the start of a race until the tv crew came off a commerical break.

I'm happier with their coverage on friday and saturday than I was on thursday. Thursday they didn't tell you what was going on at all during time trials. They just had a conversation the whole time. Friday and saturday was much better though. Thanks Bill W and Hot Rod.

ANYTHING is better than "boogity, boogity, boogity." And it's not even original. Darrell Waltrip stole it from the late great country comedian Jerry Clower. And Clower only used it once. He didn't beat us to death with it in every routine.

I think they did a great job , and would like to thank them for providing me a chance to follow the Nationals from Oregon. The media has come a long way since I used to have to wait a week for NSSN to arrive by snail mail !!!! Thank you ADN and Speed!

If that was your biggest complaint of a live broadcast that encompassed several hours, it must have been a great show.
I didn't get to listen to Saturday night's broadcast, but I've always enjoyed others I've heard.
Keep up the good work, Rod and Bill!
