Perris, CA, JUNE 30, 2014) Residents of the City of Perris will be admitted free to Perris Auto Speedway when the popular Riverside County racing facility celebrates Independence Day this Friday, July 4th, with a night of sprint car racing and the biggest and best Fireworks show in Riverside County. Presented by the City of Perris and Budweiser, spectator gates will open at 3:00 PM and racing will start at 7:00. The fireworks extravaganza will take place around 9:00 PM.

Taking a cue from Perris, i will be attending the free fireworks in my own city too.  Not a fan of  inebriated people who came to get drunk and watch fireworks, packed into the grandstands in the summer heat of Perris, while I pay a premium in tickets/concessions/parking to watch sprint cars.

Plus I will be rested for my trip up the coast the next day  wink

The citizens of Perris are paying for the Fireworks. Looking  at it another way, we the race fans are getting a great F/W's show.  Premium? Seems we are paying the same as we pay for all the other shows. I can go to a great F/W's show here in Woodland Hills and rub elbows with the Kadashian set, but I would rather hang with race fans and common folks at Perris.
