Going by PA Posse rules, since the Casey's No. 6 car is out of Iowa (1z is Pa.), and travels coast to coast with the World of Outlaws, I would like to congratulate Tim Shaffer on his quicktime run.
Also, congratulations to Danny Lasoski and Donny Schatz (both Midwest drivers to WoO, or how does that work???) on their fine finishes.
Too bad to see Rahmer junk it in hotlaps....Go Posse??? (or pussy?)

Saturday will be the same. All WoO, all the time! I could be wrong, but this thing will most likely be won from the front row.

It just amazes me on a horrific night for the Posse where Rahmer junks it in hotlaps, and Dewease and Michael get knocked out in the B, the Posse is STILL able to come in there once a year and shut your locals out. Your guys run there every week for cripe's sake, it's almost shameful...lol. Lord, I apologize...
Feature Finish
1. Lasoski (WoO)
2. Schatz (WoO)
3. Solwold (WoO)
4. Kemenah (WoO)
5. Dollansky (WoO)
6. Pittman (WoO)
7. Wolfe (Posse)
8. Hodnett (Posse)
9. D. Smith (All Stars)
10. Campbell (WoO)

And there is the point you will never get --- Once the locals become good enough to win the join the WOO and win everywhere all the time. Same with car owners. Once they understand what it takes to win they go on the road.
Just not PA. Save for a few that head to the nationals every year. Speaking of them. How many 410 races have they won out of how many run in PA?
At any rate lets see what happens tonight. As stated above. The most likely outcome - all WOO all the time.

a cursory review of career stats for the WoO shows dominant numbers by just a FEW deivers while the 20 others on the road have just a FEW wins spread among them, most of whom took to the road with NO prior WoO wins at their "home tracks".
better adjust the lenses...the feather in your cap is drooping.

boy are the backup lights glowing in pa or is it just me? after thurs. race the posse was going to kick everyones butt. now you are rejoicing in beating the locals. i have to hand it to you though, you guys never fail to find some measure of success. so if your idea of a victory is beating the locals... party on. and feel free to post your final nights accomplishments as well. we are all waiting to hear who you finished in front of so you can claim victory over them too. i said before i would much rather listen to you brag how you won than explain why you didn't.

It seems that a bunch of people on here have lost real interest in the sport... yet the absolutely love arguing about who beat who. It really shouldn't be all that difficult to realize that the sport of sprint car racing includes skill, money, and luck. You can have all the skills and the most money and biggest sponsors out of anyone in the sport, but when it comes to race time, if you have bad luck and blow a couple motors and end up in a wreck from something breaking or someone else having bad luck, it will show in the results. Look at where Kinser finished.... if the wreck that he was in and had to get his car repaired in time to get it out again, had gone worse and his car had been totalled... don't you think that would have shown in the results?
It's fairly discouraging to see people bitching about who has more skills than others and who can do what all the time instead of looking at the real facts. No one mentions who had bad luck, it's always completely their fault or completely someone else's fault... nothing ever happens by chance to anyone on here, it's always completely human error to almost everyone on here. Yes, there are bad decisions, yes there have been instances when people have been wrecked on purpose. Yes there are times when skills alone win them the race, and yes there are times when money or luck alone wins them the race.
People should look at the whole picture instead of saying their Posse, or their Outlaws, or their locals won so their better. Ask 90% of drivers if they honestly think they are better than every driver they have ever finished in front of and see what answer you get.

TWO - As it turns out their measure of success was whether or not they could beat Haud judging by the other post.
Cubic - Refer to the post from just a couple of weeks ago. By your own method of calculation CA wins just 2% less than PA up to the date of the post.
BRR - Like I said in another post. It has nothing to do with wins against the WOO. They get tired of beating the same 15 or so guys every week and want to challenge themselves.
Dirtfan - I don't think anyone is bitching. Just good honest rivalry. Nothing wrong with that.

John, don't you ever get tired of arguing the same thing over and over and over again? You are way too obsessed about drivers who race on the other side of the country at tracks you never see. Have you ever actually been to any of the tracks in PA or are you just sitting behind the keyboard talking about places you have never even seen? I even live in PA and go to the Grove nearly every week, and I don't care about this stupid argument anymore.
Guess what, you're never going to convince the people of PA of your opinions and the people from Pennsylvania will never bring the rest of the country around to their way of thinking. The argument has long since been played out.

Singlefile - This message board and others are a wonderfull diversion and easy way to pass time. I would say I am no more obsessed than those the spar with me. That same could be said for them on the "Tracks not yet attended" line. But for this debate one does not have to attend any tracks or races.
I certainly hope I never sway their opinion or them mine. Not much of a hometown fan if something said on a message board can sway me. And man would the world be a boring place if we all thought the same.
Without the posse vs. world threads on this board there would be about 5. And those probably would not have a response.
It is all good fun bagging on them when they have a subpar performance just as I am sure they will on CA if we do. It is also fun to brag when you do good. A few though cross the line and go to name calling because they can not intelligently debate their side of the argument. That is unacceptable and does not deserve response in my opinion.
By the end of next year I will be living in Iowa and you will see me debate just as heavily for them as I do CA. And if somewhere down the road my travels make my home in PA then by God that is where I will consider the best Sprint Car racing in the world.
Anyway, if you don't want to play, skip the post.

all you points are well taken. the point we try to make with the posse fans, who are the most loyal fans in the sport in my opinion is that when you make statements to the effect that your guys are better or the best and then things don't quite turn out as you hoped or stated that it is ok to admit it. no one is the best all the time. when the posse does well no one minds if you beat your chests about it. but when they don't have the results you anticipate, instead of admiting it and moving on, you start looking for ways to save face. that leads to everyone trying to one-up everyone. yes there was some hard luck this week and the most hard luck was rahmer. heck i was the first to ask for info here on how he was. i was not in the pits when he crashed but i did go over to his car when i did get in to see how things were. i saw first hand the looks in the crews eyes of being totaly bummed. i know what it is like. the guys who race together will more often than not do what they can to help each other. i think it is basically the same in here for the most part. i bet most of us could hang with each other and have a heck of a time. even if it could only be for a short time 'till we all want to smack the heck out of each other. lol.
ps. about kinser. when was the last time you saw an open red on the first lap of a heat race? as soon as steve's car was in the work area they said "ok you can work on your cars". then as soon as his top wing was on they said, "ok lets push off".

I have no doubt that alot of people on here could get along very well if they could get past the constant pride issues and trying to say someone is better than someone else just because of how they finished in that one race or one season.
Also, as far as the luck goes, Rahmer did have pretty bad luck, and you also have to add the others that got taken to the hospital and the drivers that blew 2-3 motors in the last week's time. That week of racing had some of the worst luck focusing on drivers that I've seen in a long time.
And with Kinser, he had more to change than just the top wing when they got him in there. He was still in the infield for a little bit after the rest pushed off.
Also, going to the races in Knoxville weekly, I've seen open reds on a few occasions at the beginnings of heat races. A couple times the wrecks were worse than Kinser's, but they have also been about the same as well.
