62 is correct. Ohio Speedweek is averaging 50 cars a night.

In the immortal words of Jean Lynch....."Often imitated, NEVER duplicated". Yes boys & girls, THE Ohio Sprint Speedweek is the original and still the King. Don't you forget that.

I bet it was a hell of a show they have been doing some good things at Atomic. I wantef to go but an hour and half drive, work today and four classes of cars was not going to work for me.

Yep, that was about my situation too...drive time, work, etc.

62 cars is awesome.  It seems like this may go down as one of the most-successful Speedweeks of all.  Crowds were good at Eldora and Waynesfiedl - I'm assuming good last night.  Have to assume Fremont (twice in the next three days) with Limaland in between will draw the cars and fans too.

After these car counts, you wouldn't think it would be all that difficult to get a title sponsor and points fund. The only problem is the rain outs. Maybe they could base the points payout off of how many shows they get in.

I love Ohio Speedweek..Nice variety of tracks Big & Small...In the past few years I think i've seen as many rainouts as races...

A couple years...3 of the 4 races I planned rained out and the other got rained out after 3 heat races...

This year we atleast were able to see 2 complete races and 3 rain outs!!!  I don't like my ratio!

Hope the ratio is better for Indiana.............

I'll weigh in here w my own tale of woe...my friend and I flew in last Friday to see the first 5 shows...plane tickets, hotels, rental car.  Saw 2 races, 3 rainouts.  sounds like we missed a good one last night.  Ohio Speedweek is hard to beat but not sure when we will be back as we live far away and every time we make the trip we seem to catch all the rainouts.  Hope the rest of the week goes better...

62 sprints is incredible by why in the hell would any track have 4 divisions for a mid-week speedweek race? (or even the weekend for that matter)

Glad this track is back, good for sprint cars and a nice place. 4 divisions is absurd and something the All Stars should be able to prevent, but oh well. Good nigjt of racing and the largest car count of the year outside of knoxville most likely.

Sam, there are some great folks on Indianaopenwheel.com who give updates for races when they can.  For instance, we got great updates from Atomic Wendesday night, and last night from Fremont for the All Star Speedweek shows.  Of course the Indiana shows get great coverage there too.  Much more civil and well-moderated too.

Anthony Corini has been giving great updates on Twitter, but he has returned to PA for their Speedweek. His Twitter handle is @SprintCarCorini if you're interested. Mike Leone has also been updating quite a bit. His handle is @mikevleone. I don't know if Brady Bacon will be running these two races in Ohio or heading to PA, but his wife Xia Xianna has been giving really good updates as well. @XiaXianna. SprintCarNews.com's Rick Rarer has been updating on @SprintCarNews.

This should help you all looking for updates these final two nights, and I'd say all but Rick Rarer will be updating on PA the next week as well.
