I'll be staying about an hour away in Lima, OH for the Kings Royal, does anyone have any suggestions on what there is to do during the day before the races around that area? Thanks

We went to the Allen County Museum in Lima last summer before the Brad Doty Classic. Very cool museum that shows the history in the area - there's a lot! There's a kids play area there too. Pretty sure it's free, too.

Go to the fan zone at the track and autograph session and get pumped up for the race.

Make the drive south to Wright-Patterson AFB (Fairborn) to visit the Air Force Museum.

My goodness I haven't been to either of them in a long time.

I-75 South to I-70 East to 675 & follow signs to Wright Pat if you so choose.

Neil Armstrong Air & Space Museum in Wapakoneta.

Ottawa Lake (Nice Swimming Area) ask dkdorkboy for directions. SmileSmile

There is a neat bicycle museum in New Breman. Also in Greenville there is a the Garst Museum with a great Annie Oakley exzibit. The Neal Arstrong museum is nice also. You should not have any poblem finding things to do.

I just thought if you come in town on wednesday you can go to the Brad Doty Classic at Limaland Motor Speedway. Awsome race.

We always enjoy going to the Whistle Stop in Ansonia. Approximately 5 minutes straight south of the track, right at the RR tracks in Ansonia.

Good food, drinks, lots of racing memorabilia, nice staff; very affordable...and super easy to get to from the track.
