Unfortuntley, the front row winners streak continues in both WoO and ASCS National tour. In the past few years, you needed to be in the dash (top 5 rows) to win...... now you need to be in the front row to win.

In the past 20 WoO events, we had 16 front row winners.  The other 4 winners came frrom 4th, 4th, 5th and 5th.  Very little, if any passing in the heats.

In the ASCS National Tour, we have 7 of 10 front row winners. The other 3 winners came from 3rd.

I hope the WoO and ASCS are looking at ways to improve the racing to keep the fan interest.

I was highly disappointed at the lack of racing at Devils Bowl the other night.  I expect the heats to suck, but there wasn't much racing to be found in the feature either.   Noone even got remotely close to Seth Bergman.   The whole deal looked like a dang high speed freight train.    Of course it wasn't just the sprints, there was very little racing in the other classes as well.  Maybe it was just because of the way the track was that particular night.

And worse than that, no popcorn, or candy at the concession stand.

isn't that the way though it supposed to be. The qualifying events throughout the night should put the fastest cars up front as a reward for performing the best in qualifying events. That's the issue they face. We as fans want to see all the good guys start in the back and come through the field but qualifying races or time trials don't allow for that. The only thing that could be done is go to 2 lap qualifying to "make the show" 30 Cars start (top 10 in owners points guranteed to start"100 lap features with pill draw no heats. Do open red flags at laps 25,50,75 and 90. It would give drivers time to pass in the feature and "bunch" everyone up w/ 10 to go. It's not what teams would like but it would provide what your looking for. Everyone would have a shot no matter where you started and a duel at the finish.
