Thank you to the race fans and race teams for your support of the LoneStar Speedway 5th Anniversary Spectacular, featuring the Armadillo Nationals Warm-Up event for Modifieds.
And special thanks to the 'long haul' teams that drove from as far away as Wichita KS, Little Rock AR, Houston and Monroe LA to compete at the event.
We were very thankful for the strong support in all classes, and to show our thanks, we added starters in each feature race beyond what was advertised in our payout.
What a FANtastic night of racing and celebration it was! And who would have thought the closing laps of the Factory Stock feature would have matched up to the wild action between Dennie Gieber and Jason Ingalls at the finish of the Limited Modifieds?
Special congratulations to Chris Hennigan who's Kelly Shryock built Skyrocket chassis was just too tough to tame, taking home the $2,000 win after 30 laps. Lots of drivers made big advances in the Modified feature, including Jason Ingalls who was in about 12th place by the end of lap 1, yet took the high side to climb up to a 3rd place finish.
