Officail say his helmet failed. Why wouldn't it not fail being hit in the head by a chassis at that speed. There not made of steel.

Slothower blamed the other driver for a wreck that was his fault last year (as evidenced by his not so subtle comments and endorsements or lack thereof for the other driver), so don't be surprised to see him absolve himself from this one as well.

Slothower apologized and the "other driver" more than accepted it. Now let's hear your apology for the ignorant comment.

MKwon888.....Like Slothower went into the night knowing his steering wheel would pop off going down the bs causing him to flip, and injuring himself or another driver. Some peoples thinking is down right stupid.

A driver is injured in an accident, his condition is unknown. Initial reports are not positive, yet you opt to utilize a forum to bash a driver over a statement made last year.  Please retract your post.

Far from the truth. But some people would rather get their story out as soon as possible for their 15 seconds of fame rather than get the correct information. Unbelievable.

my thoughts exactly.  There was nothing good to come out of that accident and this moron is worried about bashing a driver.  Glad Slothower was okay, and thoughts and prayers to Segar and his family

No. Was that even last year? Pretty sure it wasn't, I am referencing his 410 wreck last year. I hope Seger is OK, I like watching him race, my point is that Slothower repeatedly blamed the other driver for his wreck last year in a 410, even though it was his fault, so he let his true colors show then.

But anyway, that's not the point, hopefully Seger is fine.

Please just stop, regardless of what Slothrower did or didn't do LAST year your comments are way out of line and have nothing, absolutely nothing to do with last nights crash, there is no excuse or justification for your comments so please do not try to make your point anymore and let's just hope and pray Mr. Segar is ok.

Bashing and bickering put aside, does anyone have an official update on the young lad's condition?  If my query should have transpired at an inappropriate moment, please accept my apologies.

Williams Grove twitter reported this afternoon that Seger's condition has improved, he's communicating verbally with hospital staff, and if things continue to progress positively, he could be released from the hospital in a few days.
