Central Pennsylvania's Freddie Rahmer and Austin Hogue have to be the front runners thus far. Both impressed when the WoO were in town at Lincoln.

Scotty Thiel is currently 3rd in IRA points with 3 top 5's and a total of 5 top 10's In his first year in 410's. He should be in the running.

Sprint to win-Media are fans and usually not biased. Also there are eligibility issues they must pass. Fans have a right to pick who they want, not just in that poll.

Media is usually not biased? LOL Yea, ok. Media members are human and have biases just like everyone else.

I think Scotty is off a lot of people's radar on this board because he's not racing at Knoxville or the Groove but he'll get some attention this season.

Is Bell a rookie to 410's this year? If so I'd say he's got a leg up on it due to a WOO win.

Not really an important award....young racer keeps getting results, he will get noticed. And a "all imprtant 410 rookie of the year " award, will have zero to do with it.

...or it could garner some attention to a family owned program and get them a couple of sponsors that allow the team to continue racing.
You can look at it either way.

I think we could add The Boss, Tyler Ross and The Sandman, Brandon Rahmer as dark horses to the list...
Opinions may vary...
