Buckeye Bullet wins at Roaring Knob. Quick question for anyone who may have an idea. Why did a majority of the All Stars go to RK instead of OC with the outlaws??

This was a decent paying show with a good field of cars and if I'm not mistaken, has an effect on getting into the big paying Kasey Kahne race at Lincoln in some aspect. Being better suited going into that show can't be a bad thing with all that money on the line

Probably more to do with ocfs being an unsafe one lane track than anything. Ocfs paid almost triple the purse, comparable in total to the Kahne event in sept.

No, this roaring knob race has nothing to do with that race. That's at a later date, June I believe. More posse would have been there if it was the qualifying race.

June 1ST is a 5K to win show with the winner getting a guaranteed starting spot in the KK race at the Fabulous in September...
Really neat track nessled in the Laurel Highlands Region of Western Pa...
Opinions may vary...

Most all-stars are from OH and Roaring Knob in western PA is much closer, plus they know OCFS is a huge 5/8 mile with poor track prep and no passing. I'm surprised hardly any central PA teams supported this show while 7 went to NY. Outlaw fever I guess.
