Devil's Bowl is rained out for Wed night and the Sunday show at Outlaw is being moved to another date. That was a Central Region race anyway. BUT...
The weather looks great for the 2 new USMTS venues on Thursday & Friday and with the last video I saw of USRA Modified action from John Webb's Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, don't miss that one on Saturday either! They were 3-widing that place the whole feature!!! THREE BIG Southern Region races are very much a 'GO' THIS Thursday, Friday & Saturday!!!
Combined $6,000 to win with a combined minimum of $750 to start if you can make all the A-mains!!!
You can increase that start money from $250 to $300 per A-main simply by buying a USMTS license for the region the race is in. A Southern Region license would be good for all 3 of these races this week and 7 more coming up in a late June Speedweek! That license could pay for itself in as little as 2 races as other positions pay more too but the top 3 spots will pay $2000, $1500 and $1000 EACH night whether you have the license or not!!!

That's the brand new Longdale Speedway on Friday night May 15th not Red River. Maybe later in Wichita Falls...

The Stormy & Rodney show continued tonight! That would be Rodney Sanders & Stormy Scott.
Results are UNOFFICIAL here...
It was down to a 2-car race for the win with Rodney leading and it looks like Stormy used lapped traffic to pull off a late race pass and then withstood a G-W-C finish to get the win with Sanders second.
Had several early cautions up until about lap 8. Then 30 or so green flag laps until lap 38.
'9-time' Kelly Shryock had to hold off Louisiana's Cade Dillard to keep third. Dillard came from outside the top 12 to finish 4th. Iowa's Dan Hilsabeck was 5th. Jake Gallardo (NM), John Allen (KS), Clyde Dunn, Jr. (TX), Bryan Rowland (OK) and Bobby Malchus (TX) are your unofficial top ten.
In Southern Region points... Point leader coming in was Johnny Scott who had a great qualifying effort but terrible luck at the start of the A-main left him next-to-last I believe. (Again, all UNOFFICIAL here. Check USMTS.com for the official stuff.) I believe he will fall back to 5th now with Sanders, Shryock, S. Scott & Dillard the top 4.
On to a brand new high-banked half-mile in Longdale, Oklahoma tomorrow!!!
