Making my first trip to I55 this year for the iron man, looking for advice on a good place to stay.

the best of course is on the grounds but there are no shortage of motels in either direction near the I55...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

If memory serves me, a lot of the teams stay in Festus, which is just south of the track off of I-55. I think it was the Best Western that had quite a few rigs staying there. Have fun, Pevely is an awesome little bullring!

I usually stay at the Comfort Inn in Festus when I go to Pevely. Their breakfast spread is one of the best that I have ever encountered.
